Suddenly, everyone is middle class, yet only 2% of Americans make more that $250,000. If you assume that aboyt 15% are poor, and 2% are rich, that means 83% are middle class. A "very broad definition." Reasearchs say the true middle class makes some where in the vicinity of the media family income of $62,273 dollars. For most Americans, though, the middle class is "a state of mind". Whether they earn $20,000 or $200,000, " pretty much everyone " thinks the candidates are talking about them. National Journal
We deny science at our peril, it was America that pioneered automation and electrification, in medicine and biotech, in space and in tech. But now the country is being swept by "science denialism." Republicans, sorry to say are the worst offenders, with the party's candidates denying evolution, human-induced climate change, and even the fact that rape can lead to pregnancy. The GOP has taken on "an anti-intellectual" cast, with a authoritarian demand for " ideological conformity," regardless of what the facts say. Scientific America

The UN is not here to sway votes. That is what they want you to think. Hard as it is to swallow, votes are completely irrelevant. Ballots are not counted, and elections are for our entertainment purposes only. To make us believe that we have some say in the matter. If you don't believe me, so back as far as the Perot election. Look at the results of the primaries. Then go up the line, and see how the primaries turned out up to the last two. It's all orchestrated by the illuminated ones who run this country.
Look at the last two Rep. primaries. They are almost identical as far as how they were won. Romney and McCain won the same states with the same numbers, give or take a few they threw in for Santorum/Huckabee, etc. They always do that to keep it real looking.
Now look at the candidates for a second. During the last election, the big issue was immigration. Now, who is the one person who could not challenge Obama on immigration? McCain. Fast forward to this election. What is the big issue? Obamacare. Who is the one and only person that cannot challenge Obamacare legitimately? Romney, as it was based on Romney care.
If you look real hard at what happens to the ballots after the local levels, you will find a black hole. It's a deep black hole, occupied by Government. We have govt. in charge of the counting process. If that isn't stupid, nothing is. Not all elected officials are corrupt, but it just takes one infiltrator, and they can and have ALL been silenced on specific issues by way of bribe or threat, and that is a fact. I know this to be true first hand, and can prove it if someone would just care to listen.

VENT # 5: “Well now we have another congressional candidate that says no choice for rape victims, because it’s God’s will."
------------------------------------------------
That is not even close to what the Republican candidate said.
Democrats are attacking Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock for standing by comments he made, in a recent debate, about rape and pregnancy.
Mourdock was asked if abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest and he replied "I believe that life begins at conception."
"I think that even when in that horrible situation of rape that it is something that God intended to happen, Mourdock said." And at a press conference Mourdock clarified that he doesn't believe God intends for rape to happen, but that only God can create life.

Hello, my fellow American voters!
I watched the 4 October debates which covered 28 topics: jobs; spending/budget deficit/debt; tax reform; federal gov’t economic regulation and role; medicare; social security; entitlements (medicaid, food stamps, etc.); healthcare; gas prices; equal pay; abortion; illegal immigrants; assault weapons; partisan gridlock; negative campaign tactics; candidate misperceptions; Bush policies; Obama’s record; U.S. world role; military policy/spending; U.S. national security threats; Libya, Syria; Egypt; Israel; Iran; Afghanistan; China.
Romney and Ryan won all 4 debates, although Romney slightly won the 2nd and 3rd debates.
In the 3rd debate (unlike in prior debates), Obama reflected his weakness and disrespect by interrupting Romney a lot and using too many “one-line quips” to try to denigrate Romney.
Ryan won despite Biden’s consistently rude behavior (often interrupted Ryan, laughed when Ryan talked, pointed his finger).
Romney/Ryan won with substance, directness, integrity, respect, clarity, facts, commitment, inspiration, credibility, and leadership.
As an INDEPENDENT female feminist (egalitarian) voter, I support the Romney/Ryan ticket.
Romney and Ryan, with their no-nonsense and methodic approach to solving America’s problems, are the best persons in terms of qualifications and character to lead our country and make life better for all Americans. I hope that you are inspired by Romney/Ryan!
Best regards,
Cas Lee

Cas Lee, it was Romney and Ryan who were rude. They exceeded their talk time and would not yield to Obama / Biden so they HAD to interrupt and speak over them if they ever wanted a chance to speak.
Romney / Ryan tried to monopolize the microphone and you call someone else rude.
Romney probably won the first debate with Obama. Obama acted like he didn't want to be there.
But Romney / Ryan lost all the other debates --- BIG TIME.
Biden wiped the floor with Ryan.
And when Obama came back in the next two debates he outclassed Romney 3 to 1.

Cas Lee and Arizona Willie………
The 2012 presidential debates are over – and already President Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney have raised a combined $1.7 billion in the fundraising. The candidates’ record fundraising has been fueled by an outpouring of donations from ordinary people to the wealthiest Americans.
As a candidate for president in the 2008 election, Obama stated, “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. For me as a Christian, it is a sacred union, you know? God is in the mix.”
But now, in this election, President Obama endorses gay marriage ballot measures. Obama first voiced his general approval for gay marriage in May. And he has now endorsed and thrown his support behind same-sex marriage ballot measures in three states, Maine, Maryland, and Washington.

"I think that even when in that horrible situation of rape that it is something that God intended to happen"
Is it willfull ignorance or just plain stupidity that allows someone, anyone, to believe Mourdock's cowardly evasion when taken to task for his ignorant, sexist, misogynistic statement?
"Uh, I didn't really mean God intends rape to happen" <---Poor Mr. Mourdock should stop flapping his gums and read his Bible...the god in that book condones the rape and murder of children.

So what Accuracy?
He can believe marriage is between a man and a woman and still be willing to let other people have a different opinion.
His beliefs are < his > beliefs and he doesn't want to force his beliefs on others who don't agree with him.

Arizona Willie…. “He can believe marriage is between a man and a woman and still be willing to let other people have a different opinion.”
In May, President Obama publicly announced his support of same-sex marriage, a reversal from his previous position that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
But, the President moved beyond that point — Obama has became the first sitting president to support marriage for same-sex couples — coming out in favor of marriage equality.
President Obama recently spoke out in favor of ballot measures that would legalize gay marriage in Maine, Maryland, and Washington.
The blanket endorsement is exactly the same statement Obama's campaign team released earlier this year in North Carolina, where the legalization of same-sex marriage was defeated and rejected by voters in May.
Amendments defining marriage as between one man and one woman or making gay marriage illegal have successfully passed in 32 of 32 attempts at the state level. Gay marriage is legal in 6 states . . . through legislation or court orders, and not legalized by state (or people's) ballot measures.

Accuracy ... so what if he has supported the right of gays to be married? That doesn't negate the fact that, as he said, for him a marriage is between a man and a woman. That is < his > belief but he doesn't want to force his opinion on others who disagree with him.More power to him.
So what is your point that a bunch of states have outlawed gay marriage?
That just means a bunch of people want to force < their > beliefs on other people who don't agree with them.
Do you consider that a good thing to have other people's beliefs forced on you?
Obama isn't wrong .... all the people in the states where they voted to outlaw it are in the wrong because they want to force their religious beliefs on other people.
It is a very very short walk from there to having people vote in a state religion and force others to me Methodists, or Baptists, or whatever.
The U.S. Constitiution says the Federal Government shall not install a National religion --- but that doesn't prevent a state or states from having a STATE religion.Things are very close to that NOW.Many southern states you are shunned if you aren't a Baptist. And, in Arizona, you have little hope of political office if you aren't a Mormon. And I imagine that applies even more to Utah. When a majority of State elected officials all belong to the same cult --- err --- religion, that comes pretty darn close to becoming a state religion.
