“The Mesa Public Library requires photo identification to renew a library cards but no ID is required to vote.”

“I just pray that President Obama can save us from global warming before we all freeze to death.”

“Oh Great Obama, lead us out of this horrible situation. Wait, you couldn’t lead a lemming.”

“I gave up for Lent making contributions to any political party whose members have worked a whopping eight days this year ... and so should you.”

“El Paso, Texas, has the lowest crime rate in the continental U.S. and 85 percent of its population is Hispanic. So the Venter who claims most crimes are committed by minorities is wrong.”

“McCain wonders why Arizonans who attended his town halls are angry over his immigration plan. He keeps saying that he wants the ‘11 million illegals to come out of the shadows.’ Too bad he doesn’t care half as much about the 23 million Americans that are without jobs. He still doesn’t get it.”

“What’s Obama’s beef with homeschooling? Romeike v. Holder is just the latest assault by this administration on our rights. ‘The Obama administration believes that the rights of parents to educate our children is conditional on the government’s approval, a right that is not fundamental but exercised at the whim of our educational overlords.’ ”

“Crude oil prices are approaching $100 a barrel again — while North Dakota, Montana and Canada have been experiencing an unprecedented boom in oil production and have a surplus of oil. And if President Obama approves the Keystone XL Pipeline, that oil can help meet America’s demand as expensive imports from key suppliers like Saudi Arabia continue to plunge.”

“I sympathize with the venting Venter about ‘The Vent’. I have also not written for a long time — basically, because ever since the Trib changed hands, there has been a nasty, sharp-right editorial turn, and so I don’t see my contributions printed anymore. The same, old cranks spout off, and it gets really tiresome. Every now and then, the column condescends to print something other than Tea Party rantings, but that is few and far between. This gives the impression that there are more extreme right Gilbert citizens than I believe there are. The Trib does Gilbert a big disservice this way.”

“Tyranny is a government that punishes success and rewards those that take advantage of the welfare system generation after generation, a government that tells us what and how much we can eat and drink, a Government that that is lock step with the media in promoting only one agenda and demonizes anyone in opposition. A media that holds only one side of government accountable for lies and corruption. Pretty much what we have today in the U.S.”

Venter # 3 the President has been very effective in leading more into welfare. Venter # 5 here are some facts that show you maybe wrong!

Venter # 8 America has the resources that we could be energy independent yet for ideology reasons some refuse to let this happen.
Last Venter, Anyone that can't see that is exactly what is happening right now, is either on the receiving end, or refuses to see the truth until we all end up feeling the pain.

VENT #8:…… “unprecedented boom in oil production and have a surplus of oil."

    Just what onerebel posted.

And the Keystone XL (1,661-mile) Pipeline across the U.S. will provide the following:

Increased domestic oil production fueling – a healthy trend away from Middle East OPEC oil countries – and toward the oil that’s produced in the U.S. and from TransCanada.

Removal of the critical bottleneck in the country's oil transportation system.

Increase employment in states and employment in U.S. oil companies and more refineries.

Extend the benefits of energy independence and sustainability into the future.

Stop skyrocketing gas prices due to increase in the demand for gas.

Facebook's first annual earnings report showed $1.1 billion in pretax profits, but the social networking firm will likley pay 0 federal and state taxes. Instead, thanks to some clever bookkeeping, the company is expected to receive a $429 million tax refund.

Very true onerebel………..And it’s President Obama, the Liberal Democrats in Congress, and the environmental extremists who strongly oppose the crude-oil pipeline in the U.S. – and all of the increased employment, here in America, it would bring with it.

Accuracy, you said " Increased domestic oil production fueling – a healthy trend away from Middle East OPEC oil countries – and toward the oil that’s produced in the U.S. and from TransCanada. "

    Unfortunately, that is completely WRONG.

The oil from the pipeline is going to a port in Texas so the oil can be sold on the world market.

The oil companies LIED about the Alaskan oil and said it would reduce gasoline prices but 99% of Alaskan oil is sold to Japan. It didn't help pump prices for Americans at all.

And now they are LYING to us again. There is a huge port being built in Texas to handle huge oil freighters and the end of the pipline is that port. Not one drop will wind up being pumped into your car.

    #1-There are still Libraries?
#2-I hope that Jor-El can get Kal-El into that capsule, before Krypton explodes!
#3-Oh, Great Obama, I hope...therefore, I am exploitable. Could you at least buy me dinner, afterward?
#4-Why did you wait until Lent?
#5-All crimes are committed by a minority. Criminals are a minority, although I wonder how fast that segment is growing...
#6-McCain has realised that there is a problem, and is, at last, making a stab at solving it. HIs constituency, however, is still bent on arguing for absurdity's sake.
#7-To have education meet a minimum criteria, is too much of a burden on your freedom to raise your children? Fine, then teach them the power of critical thought, while they flip burgers into the twilight years.
#8-The pipline is a scam, by oil companies. It will go on the world market, and would employ almost no Americans, while putting large portions of the midwest at risk of polluting the wate table. Those darn radical environmentalists!!
#9-You mean, Gilbert has people other than tea party? I'm shocked!!
#10-I submit that you have no idea what Tyranny truly is, if you think we have such now. We have extremism, and we have corruption in plenty. But, tyranny is the suppression of opinion--and the subjugation of the masses, in the name of a cause, or a country, or a religious dogma. We aren't there, quite yet...

Arizona Willie thinks that the Keystone Pipeline System is only going to a port in Texas.

Keystone Pipeline System has many destinations in the United States so oil can help meet America's demand: The first phase will go through North Dakota and South Dakota to Steele City, Nebraska and on to refineries facilities at Wood River and Patoka, Illinois. It’s the second phase of Keystone that will go to the oil distribution hub in Cushing, Oklahoma – and then on to the proposed refineries in Houston and Port Arthur Texas. The third phase pipelines to Baker, Montana and on to Steele City, Nebraska.

Canadian oil and North Dakota and Montana oil going on a pipeline instead of on trucks and trains to U.S. refineries. But President Obama is doing everything he can to prevent this from happening.
