“How many times has the vocal religious minority been on the wrong side of history and had to be dragged kicking and screaming into line with the rest of humanity?”

“I do not understand your country. I come from a strongly religious land. You people call us Islamic. In my land, being homosexual is a major offense to God. For me to serve someone who is homosexual, will put a mark on my soul that will take much time and effort to make spotless again. Now, you veto a law to protect me from harm to my soul. Why do you people want to take my religion away from me? Why do you want me to become unclean, serving the perverted homosexual, and offending God? This is bad, bad for me, bad for my family.”

“I can’t believe all of the lies going around concerning the freedom of religion bill. Or the flip-floppers who read it (it’s only 2 pages), agreed with it, voted for it and now want the governor to veto it. A Jewish, Muslim or vegan restaurant owner or caterer should not be forced to serve pork, even if a customer requests it, a homosexual owner of a print shop should not be forced to serve a customer who wants signs that say, ”homosexual = sinner” and a Christian photographer should not be forced to take pictures of a same-sex marriage. If they don’t want you as a customer, why would you want to patronize their business anyway?”
