"Everyone wants a balanced budget but no one wants to have it affect their education, medical benefits, safety or them directly. Come on people, cuts have to be made somewhere."

"Heard State Sen. Steve Yarbrough comment that we ‘have to take the bitter with the sweet' in going to a flat tax system. Sure, the wealthy take the sweet and the rest of us take the bitter! Rep. Steve Court claims that ‘it's not going to be any excessive tax increase,' and I'm sure that it won't be; for him. Republicans are still overreaching, and it's clear that they have no idea how the average Arizonan struggles to live."

"We're fighting three wars now. Imagine how many we'd be fighting if Obama hadn't won the Nobel Peace Prize."

"Our use of cruise missiles in the Libyan exercise is costing $1 million per missile. Suggest we defray the cost of the missiles and other ancillary war costs by tapping into the millions deposited by Gadhafi in our banks."
