“Isn’t it ironic that the very same hippies, anarchists and flower children of the 1970’s (and now their grown up daughters) are exactly what they accused the returning Vietnam War veterans of being: ‘baby killers’. There were 1,300,000 living, human fetuses who were killed in their mother’s womb in 2011. The Vietnam veterans were never proud of having to kill civilians during the war. The ‘baby killers’, on the other hand, are proud of it. They call themselves, ‘pro-choice’.”

“Congratulations to Brophy on their win over Chandler last Friday. Unfortunately, their coach decided it would be a good idea to start the game by yelling at the CHS band, who were running a little late finishing their pregame show. The ‘classy’ players followed his lead by flipping off the drum majors and rushing the field, pushing around the clarinet players, most of whom are girls! I’m sure you are proud of the way you’ve represented your school and the Catholic Church!”

“June asks Ward’s permission before spending more than her ‘allowance’ on grocery’s, driving the car or disciplining the boys (but usually she feels inadequate and waits for Ward to handle it). Sexist. Eddie is always talking about the need to ‘pound’ any guy that gets in his way, steals his girl etc. Beaver frequently comes home with torn clothes and black eyes from fighting. Implied violence. On the rare occasions minority’s are shown, they are not portrayed as equals, when native american artifacts are found, disparaging remarks about ‘savages’ are spoken. Racist. As bad as today’s shows, no, but not the wholesome utopia those reminiscing over it believe.”

    "Um, what threat?"

How smug these religious bigots are, threatening us "heathens" with eternal torture and suffering, and then acting all innocent "what threat?".

Immoral, cowardly, and just plain evil. Thanks for exposing yourself...again.

The Iliad - a Creation story that predates the Torah.

And incidentally, where the Bible copied many of its stories from. ;)

Did you skip History class in school?

    "Iliad"?

What in Obi-wan Kenobi's name does that mean?

Enraged, you may want to take a peek at Alma 17 again. As you'll learn, the Lamanites were trying to scatter the king's flocks. He only did it to protect the flocks and to defend himself. The funny part is when it says "They began to be astonished". THAT is the funny part.

So, it takes a bunch of name-calling to make your point? So sad.

"Believe it or not, but there are many parts in the Book of Mormon that are somewhat funny, like when Ammon cuts off the arms of many Lamanites"

    Wow.

If you think that's funny, you must find the rape and murder of children in the Bible to be hilarious.

    Sick and disgusting.

"So, when Christ does come again, and He will come, neither you nor anyone else will be able to deny Him. "

And more superstitious threats from the spineless, lying coward.

Take these and stick them where I told you to stick the rest of your threats...and apologize to your mother.

"These, and more, are more than enough proof that Christ came to America"
    LOL!!!
And the Iliad is proof that the Kraken existed!
You are off your rocker with your latest claims.
I suggest medication and intense therapy...but that may not be enough at this point.

If Obama does succeed, then the United States of America as we know it will cease to exist. We'll become a Utopian State, and that would be bad for everyone.

I pray that in (about) 1,460 days, we'll have a real conservative president. I personally don't think that our campaign was falwed. Not in the lest. I think that many people were fooled, coerced into believing that Obama has done a good job. HA! He's raised our debt by $6 trillion in less than four years! You think that's good?

Obama has done more damage than Clinton was even capable of. And it's only been fouir years!

Definately not a fan of comments being deleted. It's one thing if the comment is vulgar, but someone impolitely expressing disdain is censored as well? That's going too far.

"it's more than enough for anyone with half a brain (or even a quarter brain)."
    I'm sure it is.

However, those of us with a FULL functioning brain require actual evidence. ;)

Looks like the editors were hard at work again in this topic removing posts. Notice the first post today is one from DonMey criticizing my previous remark and quite a few previous remarks are gone.
Like they decided to trim the first X number of posts.

I'm going to have to seriously consider if I want to continue posting here since it appears they are practicing censorship and removing posts someone in the office doesn't like.

mrconserative says:"Yes, we did succeed in killing him. But I give most of the credit to George W. Bush. Without his interrogation techniques, bin Laden would still be alive.

Dubya had his chance in Dec. 2001 to get bin Laden in Tora Bora, but the troops that had him cornered were ordered to stand down, allowing him to escape. Capturing or killing bin Laden and crippling al-Qaeda would have thrown off plans for the ill concieved invasion of Iraq. And Cheney, Halliburton, KBR, et al would have no part of missing out on the war they planned to reap so much wealth from.

"imbibes"? I don't drink alcohol! It's nasty, and I wouldn't drink a single drop of it if you held a gun to my head.

Um, truth, did you pay any attention to Obama's campaign at all? He was rude, deceitful and ugly. Not to mention dirty. Romney is a very nice guy. I know someone who has met him. He had only positive things to say about Romney. I think he would have made a very good president, and he wouldn't have wasted time blaming his predecessor, unlike our incumbant.

At least I can take solice that nut-jobs like Allen West, Akin and Murdock are gone. It is time for the moderate, sensible Republicans to keep these Tea Party loons in line and start doing the people's work. A huge factor as to why the Republicans lost is because they are against too many things and against too many groups. Those groups fired back and made sure the Oval Office stayed in the hands of Obama. The hate and obstruction approach didn't work. Time to swallow your pride Republicans and realize that the country has rejected your policies and is moving forward not backward.

Bachman lives in a a district that was carefully carved out so that anyone with a (R) after their name wold get voted in, even if they had overt ties to the nazis or other like-minded fellas. Sadly, sending a liberal comedian to the senate is more representative of Minnesota as a whole.

I have lots of relatives up there, and kind of follow their news. Everything is pretty much the exact opposite of here.

Condemning my posts after all the *rap posted here by right wingers?

    haw haw haw

One can only imagine the tone of the posts the right wingers would have posted had Romney stolen the election.

Flip Flop, Flop Flip, No White House for Twitt Romney. Billionaire's could not buy the Presidency. This was the most disgusting, the lowest, hatred campaign I have ever seen in almost 70 years. The Big Oil companies, Koch brothers, failed in their attempt to control the U.S. with their billions of dollars. To top it off the news media, the local home deliver newspaper in Az., and the TV news were total liars, and misleading and disgusting liars. Lier Liar Pants On Fire. Classy? I'll tell you what's classy. Arizona didn't change anything, at a time when lunacy rules the State. That's classy...(sarcasm off)

But, I took solace in noting that Michele Bachman won re-election. At least, we aren't the only State that is delusional/dysfunctional, in our politics!

It will be interesting to see if the Republicans will be capable of shifting from the party of No, to the Party of Go...(come on, guys, let's at least put in an effort of legislating, this time, ok?)

I'm making my own Vents here, instead of commenting on them, because the actual Vents are so lame, today. High School football, Leave It To Beaver, and Abortion. Well, at least they're eclectic!

I wish Obama the best, I expect a little more of him, because, after all, he doesn't need to campaign anymore, right? And, even if he continues to be blocked by his detractors, his monumental effort, during his first year, will continue to blossom, to the good of us all (well, most of us, anyway). The parts of the stimulus that were not "instant oatmeal", will continue to cook, and serve us well (talking about infrastructure projects here).

I also wish Romney well, and I hope he can devote his time to family, friends, and channel his fame to doing good deeds, like Jimmy Carter. Have a great retirement!

Now that the election is over, I have something to say to Enraged Voter (Or Estatic Voter is probably more accurate, since his Emperor Palpatine/Vader team won the election - one of the few times that the Empire defeated the Rebellion).

I have not ever, at ANY time, deleted my comments or anyone else's comments. I don't know how to do that. Even if I did know how, I wouldn't do ot.

This comment will likely end up being deleted, but as long as Enraged Voter sees it, that doesn't matter to me.

May Obama utterly fail in his second term.

The 53% that voted "for" Obama were the ones that the 47% work to support. The Obama Campaign probably had buses taking Food Stamp, Welfare and Un-Employment "couch potatoes" to the Polls. I wondered why there were no Illegal Aliens swarming to pick-up trucks at Home Depot. They were all using their "fake or stolen I.D.'s" to vote.

Way to stay classy there, Willie. Keep it up, and then scratch your head and wonder why people aren't willing to compromise and work with your party...(we all know you'll just keep your blinders on and insist it is the other guy's fault)

And no, I didn't vote for Romney.
