“Americans have been complaining for years that both sides in Washington don’t listen to them. Republicans in Virginia have shown they’re willing to do something about it. Now the question is, are Democrats also willing to do something about it?”

“With the recent tea party upset victory in Virginia, there’s going to be a fresh emphasis on their extremist ideas like fiscal responsibility, Constitutional adherence and secure borders.”

“Here we are as a country: The tea party and it’s far-right followers talk and act like they love their country but hate everything about our government. They then look the other way in silence and shrug when a couple (clearly influenced by the anti-government messages on the radio and Internet) mow down a couple of cops and a ‘good guy with a gun.’ True patriots indeed.”

“We are in central Arizona. It is June and it’s hot. Do we need the local TV news to spend 15 minutes telling us it’s hot and that it is going to stay hot?”

“Maybe the NRA will have a car wash for the poor guy (in Las Vegas) who believed the NRA’s drivel that everyone is safer with a gun.”
