“Our conservative state Legislature is moving forward on over 500 proposed laws this session. Nice to see so called ‘small government’ Republicans show that they are incapable of sticking to their supposed values.”

“Sequester is the same as austerity, the heavy handed movement of austerity hasn’t worked very well in Europe. Food for thought, why do think rioters and protesters in Greece had to throw rocks? Because they don’t possess 50 percent of the guns in the world.”

“It was the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation, but health officials’ findings show the flu shot only helps about 9 percent of those that are 65 or older (and others who got the vaccine) against the three types of flu this year.”

“When the Jerry-mander did his thing I went from Dr. No (David Schweigert) (sic) to Ms. Lazy (Kirsten Sinema) (sic). I can understand how after eight days of saying NO or buffing her nails they need a vacation.”

“How ironic that a good portion of the animal shelter protesters would be the same group that would support a womans right to terminate what would otherwise become a healthy human child. Things that make you say hmmmmmm.”

“Re: ‘El Paso, Texas, has the lowest crime rate in the continental U.S. and 85 percent of its population is Hispanic. So the Venter who claims most crimes are committed by minorities is wrong.’ Statistics can be made to say anything. Yes, El Paso has a very low murder rate but its rates of assault, theft, burglary and motor vehicle theft per FBI statistics are much higher than the national averages. Also, the writer of the original vent made a big deal about the large Hispanic population. If you look at the El Paso police department statistics the majority of crimes in El Paso happen in the largely Hispanic neighborhoods. So again, statistics can be made to say anything.”

“The sequester represents a 2.3 percent across the board cut. Well that’s about the percentage I lost when the payroll cuts expired. In my life that equaled one dinner out at Denny’s for me and my wife. Stop buying 60 dollars hammers and $200 toilet seats. Be responsible, take these cuts and STOP sniveling.”

“The tentacles of the White House reach everywhere, especially to Hollywood’s liberal ‘sheep.’ It was disappointing and demeaning to see the ‘Queen of Pennsylvania Avenue’ with her entourage announcing the best picture choice. But then again I guess she couldn’t be outdone by the Queen of England’s Olympics arrival.”
