“Well, we studied all of the propositions and we don’t know which ones to vote for. But why even vote for a proposition when these yuppie judges can strike them down, like they did on this one on voter ID?”

“I’ll bet somebody with a knowledge of mathematics could work out a direct algorithm toward the Republican Party’s poll numbers and the price of gasoline. The worse the perception of the Republican Party, the cheaper the gas. The better their perception, the higher the cost of gas.”

“What in the world is going on with these emergency broadcasting tests? Last night, I laid in bed for 20 minutes listening to one. They used to be 30 seconds. Knock it off.”

“It’s been predicted for years the world is going to the dogs. Just read the paper.”

“The city of Scottsdale is raising the water bill again. I guess they need the money to buy the golf course at Chaparral and Hayden and turn it into a park. Who needs another park in that area?”

“You can tell (Mesa) city fathers they don’t need to tear up a perfectly good golf course and wonderful softball facility for a water theme park. Check the southwest corner of University and Mesa drives. All of that property was bought out for a water-themed park that never happened.”

“I don’t mind big business going outside (the U.S.) to make their product for the world. What I do mind is them selling it back to us.”

“Bill and Hillary Clinton recently celebrated 31 years of marriage, which can be best described as cruel and unusual punishment.”

“Stay the course is not a strategy. When American troops are put in harm’s way, they should be knocking down cities, not doors.”

“Well, it looks like I’ll be spending quite a bit of time in jail if this facial recognition program gets approved (Tribune, Friday), because I’m going to be the first one ripping down and destroying every camera I see.”

“It’s seem like to me that it’s pretty obvious that our legislators do not deserve a raise when we’ve got a ballot coming up Nov. 7 that has 19 (propositions).”

“Why is the Tribune called a Freedom newspaper? Does it mean the freedom to teach, preach and promote liberalism?”

“Considering where our population growth is coming from, the 300 million milestone falls into the category of really bad news, not the stuff to break out the hats and horns for.”

“Regarding these ads that are against propositions 201 and 206. . .(coughing), excuse me, there’s a smoker in the area. . .I think it’s ridiculous the amount of money they are spending on the ads. Don’t you think it’s ridiculous?”

“I hope the new police commissioner can find enough money in his budget to get turn signals for the police cars.”

“You may say the Foley thing is Bill Clinton’s fault because Clinton went through all of the girls, so all that was left was the boys.”

“I don’t have a political party. The people I would vote for are not on the ballots. We need a third party for the average Americans.”
