“Penn State has done what the Catholic church has refused to do.”

“I am not a Nebraska football fan, but I hope the Cornhuskers win 100-0 on Saturday and go for 2 on every touchdown right through to the end.”

“Joe Paterno really does need to go now. It is time. When Penn State failed to act he should have. He allowed the sexual abuse to continue, knowingly and consciously.”

“Why aren’t early ballots counted as they come in or at least on Election Day? That way we wouldn’t have to wait for them to be counted. According to election officials there are thousands of early ballots yet to be counted. Maybe there are a majority of votes for Russell Pearce. It is wrong for Jerry Lewis and his supporters to claim a victory when all of the votes have not been counted.”

“No one in Arizona got their nose bitten off on Election Day. And people in Ohio thought that Arizona was the Wild West?”

    First, Second and Third Ventors:

Think of the problem this way. Institutions like colleges and universities and even corporations are composed of people. Since Citizen's United and according to Mitt Romney, these institutions are people. So blaming an institution and all who are a part of that institution for the wrong doing of a subset of those people must make sense, too. At least your statements infer that it does. Go Nittanni Lions. At least Lions protect their young!

    Fourth Venter:

You ask "Why aren’t early ballots counted as they come in or at least on Election Day?" It's a secret. And since virtually no one can keep secrets, ballots have to be counted after the poles close. The question is "Why does it take so long to cound absentee balots when regular ones are counted almost instantaneously?" Sure we have computerized polling. But days? Makes no sense.

    Fifth Venter:

You took a poll of people in Ohio? Don't you mean people everywhere?
