“Oh, boy, do I feel warm and safe. The governor of Arizona, a state run amuck with illegal aliens, is going to be the next secretary of Homeland Security. I hope this isn’t a taste of what’s to come from the (Barack) Obama administration.”

“Napolitano may head Homeland Security? That’s not even funny!”

“The job of director Homeland Security is not the place you throw a friend who helped you get elected. It’s an important job with consequences if you don’t do that job. After all, what’s Janet going to do, complain to herself if she can’t get the job done?

“But there is one blessing for Arizona. We will no longer have Janet for governor!”

“Oh, I am happy for Gov. Napolitano! But boy are we going to miss her. I think she’s a wonderful governor.”

“If Napolitano takes over Homeland Security, I know we are doomed. Her only offering for Arizona defense was wanting the ability to take away people’s guns in the case of an emergency.”

“We keep hearing that secretary of state is such a plumb job. We may want to check with Colin Powell before we go very much farther with that illusion.”

“To all you Republicans that are whining that Obama wants to close Guantanomo, I hate to break it to you, but so did John McCain. In fact, it is rumored that McCain is going to help Obama with the proper closing of this prison.”

“The state would save a heck of a lot more money if the three universities’ football and basketball coaches took a 5 to 10 percent pay cut than if the presidents did. Dennis Erickson is the highest paid state employee, by far!”

“I wonder how many members of the United States Senate and Congress drive General Motors, Ford and Chrysler autos?”

“Since it appears President-elect Obama, Rep. Pelosi and Sen. Reid want to revive the Fairness Doctrine for talk radio, a minority in broadcasting, I think we should now require that minorities who vote predominately Democrat must by law have to vote half for Republicans. We’ll call it the Fairness Voting Doctrine.”

“The day after the inauguration, Obama should close Guantanamo, give all the detainees a sack lunch and put them on a bus with a one-way ticket to San Francisco.”

“This is in regard to 8-year-old (accused of killing) his father and the other man in St. Johns, I think this is really ridiculous. They are letting him out to have Thanksgiving dinner (with his mother). Boo-hoo, Wa-wa. The little brat should stay where he belongs.”

“Did anyone ever consider the fact that 8-year-old boy in St. Johns was physically abused and (that) caused him to do the terrible thing he did?”

“Are you kidding me? The 8-year-old boy in shackles during his court appearance? But I guess it shouldn’t surprise me. Most of the deputies I have seen in Arizona are so out of shape, they probably get winded writing a ticket.”
