"Is any man scummier than Charlie Sheen? Wait, we had a President named Clinton that was."

"Obama's call to stop the name-calling was not heartfelt. It has always been his goal to divide and destroy America."

"Garin Groff's article in Sunday's Trib about Arizona using the Utah Compact was drivel. Groff refers to immigration numerous times. The word illegal should have been attached in every instance. He stated that Russel Pearce has gained national prominence for his anti-immigration stance. Wrong. His stance is against illegal immigration, as should all Americans' be. Everyone should re-read the article and insert illegal ahead of all references to immigration. Then the article has value. Otherwise, it's crud. Furthermore, if Utah faced the illegal immigration issues that border states do, their Compact wouldn't be so complacent."

"With the controversy over the state dropping AHCCS coverage, a thought occurs to me. How many people who pay for private insurance each month have coverage that includes organ transplants? Just wondering.

Good point by the Venter about Garin Groff's article "Countermovement to anti-immigration rhetoric focuses on Mesa” in Sunday's Trib. How Garin Groff uses anti-immigration and immigration debate instead of “illegal immigration”.

About Arizona using the Utah Compact?? Even the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) has not signed the Utah Compact and has not endorsed it unofficially; according to Raul Lopez-Vargas, spokesman for a group of Mexican nationals that wants President Felipe Calderon to suspend granting visas for LDS missionaries in Mexico.

The “Utah Compact” is for “Amnesty”: Yes, the same Utah Compact (immigration-policy statement) that Daniel Martinez, a retired educator, asked the Mesa City Council to endorse.

"Scrummier?" That term is not in either my dictionary or vocabulary. But judging from its spelling, I would have to agree. Until we might elect Newt Gringrich, Bill Clinton might have the title with JFK coming in a discretely close second. Try reading this week's Time magazine on Sex Addictions.

    Second Venter:

And you reach this conclusion based upon what information? Certainly you have not read any of his books, nor listened to many of his speaches. Just what are you reading and whom are you listening to?

    Third Venter:

A valid point. But the Utah Compact has value just a so John McCain [version 1.0] GW Bush [as Texas governor] and others views of comprehensive "illegal" immigration have value. I trust you appreciate my insertion of the word "illegal." It appears to be nerve point for you.

    Fourth Venter:

The answer is simple. Those who did not have transplant coverage once could depend upon AHCCS. They had to engineer their eligilitity. Loosing income was easy. As sick as they were, they could not work and survive. Now this will no longer be a difficult choice. They can keep on working until they just drop dead!
