“U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew warns that there will not be enough money to cover Social Security payments, military salaries, Medicare, and other government programs in mid-October – unless Congress lawmakers raise the country’s borrowing limit, which is already capped at $16.7 trillion.”

“Even with their $174,000 salaries, Congress declines to cut short their vacation — already more than I get — to address the deadly chemical situation in Syria but let the President act alone and Congress will be yelling from the mountain tops. It’s time for term limits and a volunteer Congress to take care of the nation’s problems.”

“I’m the Midwest Venter who could walk the streets of my hometown 50 years ago and couldn’t now days. Even if I did live in a Sundowner town, which I didn’t, what difference would it make? The venter who disagreed with me must think it’s ok for the crime rate to be higher now days. Keep making excuses for the scum that cause this problem.”

“Pro-life advocates are against any policy that allows a mother and a doctor to kill, regardless of the age of the victim, embryo, fetus, newborn, infant, toddler or teenager. The argument that we only care about life in utero is ridiculous. Parents, not government, are responsible for caring for children, from conception to adulthood. If you can’t afford a baby and you can’t afford a condom, you can’t afford sex, so CHOOSE not to!”
