“Our Suns are a great team. We’re so lucky to have such a class bunch of guys. They deserve our support and cheering at games, win or lose. Stay at home if you want to sit on your hands. Way to go, (coach Mike) D’Antoni.”

“Everybody’s talking about what a great job Hillary Clinton did in Las Vegas, but really, how hard is it to win a debate when the moderator is afraid to ask you a tough question, and in fact has been warned not to, when the audience is all stacked with your supporters, and really, look at the people you are debating against. What did you win, Hillary?”

“Democrats stand united in their hatred of George Bush. But ask one what (John) Edwards, (Barack) Obama or Hillary stand for, and they have not a clue.”

“A lot of people are questioning Mitt Romney’s candidacy because he’s a Mormon. Being LDS, I am questioning it, too. Not because of his religious beliefs, but rather his failure to answer questions that would concern separation of church and state like paying tithings on Social Security disability.”

“Anyone else tired of reading about (John) McCain’s POW days? I bet those who died would have loved to change places with him.”

“Why is it that my tax dollars can feed children of illegal aliens in the schools, or (poorer families) in the schools, to eat full, balanced-diet lunches; but my kid forgets her lunch money one day and she has to eat a measly peanut butter and jelly sandwich? This is ridiculous. If they would have fed my kid, I would have paid them double tomorrow.”

“Yesterday, as I was reading about all of the hungry families that go hungry for part of the year at least, I glanced at the television and here was this stupid TV guy bowling with turkeys. Needless to say, I didn’t give to that charity.”

“By thinking federal agents only can handle infractions of federal laws (Opinion 2, Thursday), you could also say a city police officer must keep hands off anyone breaking a county or state law. I thought our law enforcement officers were supposed to work with all law enforcement agencies to stop any and all crime in their designated areas.”

“Mr. President, illegals aren’t doing jobs Americans won’t. They are doing the jobs at lower pay, which means they took the jobs from Americans.”

“Gas prices at the pump aren’t ridiculous because barrel prices are high. It’s because we have an administration that allows big business to do what they want. So in reality, we are paying for their campaign at the pump as pay back.”

“Arizona’s DUI laws are becoming draconian. I’m tired of funding the tax machine created by Joe Arpaio and Maricopa County and the state of Arizona. We need to get our state back. Property taxes are out of synch with salaries. And I’m tired of footing the bill.

“I realize that a lot of our winter visitors come from small towns in Iowa and Minnesota, where the speed limit is 30 mph. But here it’s 45 (mph). I’m not asking you to speed. Please do the posted limit.”
