The newspapers and the media loves to gang up on “Sheriff Joe” because they are on the side of the illegals and he is one of the few who is enforcing the written law.
There is no simple way of putting it. We live in a state where illegals are running rampant. The Democrats have made our state into a sanctuary for illegals. What is not to understand? Illegal immigrants are not just cooks and gardeners, they are criminals.
Politicians, clergymen ,media, yes and even our president are leading them to believe that they are being discriminated against. They have labeled it profiling.
Can you honestly say and believe within your heart that state senators Steve Gallardo and Raul M. Grijalva are not racist? Yet, they are never, ever classified as such.
Now, we meet that classification when we stand up and say everyone should have to carry an ID, or that everyone should be in our country legally. Heaven to betsy, if you think that way, no doubt you are labeled a racist. For somewhere it must be written that illegals do not have to abide by the same laws as we naturalized do.
Now let’s see if I am interpreting Janet Napolitano correctly: She wants our elected Sheriff Joe to look the other way. Napolitano’s said in the Arizona Republic on July 11th that it is alright for illegals to break the law, as long as it is only a minor offense, like being in our country illegally. Ummm, this is from someone in charge of homeland security.
Maybe I am wrong, but aren’t these illegals criminals and shouldn’t they be deported ?

If not, explain why his chief deputy Hendershott and two top aids were fired following a misconduct investigation. Explain why county attorney Andrew Thomas testified in his own defense, to a panel of his peers who will determine if he should have his license to practice law revoked forever.
Joe Arpaio acts as though he is completely stupid of all that is going on around him. Yet every one of his colleagues say that he was integral to the decisions to abuse power. It will catch up to you, Joe.

Most government agencies and that includes law enforcement agencies, are riddled with corruption. But there are also many who are honest and want to do the right thing. Illegal immigrants place an unnecessary burden on the financial purse strings of the taxpayer. They are not an asset as some say, they are a liability. SB1070 is nothing more than citizens shouting they have heard enough rhetoric from the federal government that refuses to do anything to solve the problem. I f there were no issue with the illegal’s, there would be no SB1070. We either have sovereignty or we don't. Whether you like Pearce or Arpaio the real question is, do we have a problem or not that needs addressing?

BS, the reason we have SB1070 is because Joe Arpaio could not tolerate following the guidelines established by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement, 287(g) authority ). Arpaio violated the rules of the authority by arresting hundreds of people who were U.S. citizens or were here legally. Therefore, Arpaio's 287(g) status, which allowed him street authority to arrest illegal immigrants, was revoked.
In an effort to defy the Federal Gov. Pearce decided to write a State law that would permit Arpaio and others to do exactly what the rules in 287(g) were meant to guard against; civil rights abuses.
Joe Arpaio is now under Federal investigation for such acts.

By the way, your bias really shows since it was the will of the majority of our citizens who wanted SB 1070.
PS: the feds have been after Arpaio since Obama entered office and to date, their witch hunt has proven fruitless. Good try anyway.

What did Presidents Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.
In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation W-tb-ck (that word is profanity? ). It was done so WWII and Korean veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could sure do it today. If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation W-tb-ck into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Why, you might ask, can't they do this today? Actually the answer is quite simple.
Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians looking for votes!

That's not true and you know it Dale. The Obamanation administration withdrew federal authority from the MCSO because Joe used the authority more effectively than any country sheriff in the nation. They don't want effective illegal immigration control. Doesn't really matter much cause it hasn't slowed old Joe down a second. In fact, his office has stepped up illegal immigration raids since Obozo withdrew support, and it hasn't slowed down.

Arpaio was the Greatest Sheriff Who Ever Lived and he Walked On Water according to all the media BEFORE he decided to enforce immigration laws.
He immediately became Public Enemy #1 and they have been after his head ever since.
The media IS business and business wants cheap labor.
Business actually PREFERS illegal labor because they can pay them under the table and / or demand kickbacks if they are in an industry where they are watched, such as construction. The contractor may pay them according to the law but the illegal better bring in an envelop with a certain amount of money on Monday morning.
Illegals can't complain about being made to work overtime for zip. They can't complain about unsafe working conditions either because the Boss can call ICE on them.
Illegals are the PREFERRED workers.
So anyone who tries to enforce the law will feel the full weight of the press slamming down on their head.

Rational, that relates to the lawsuits brought by Stapley, et al. The Federal investigations into Civil Rights abuses are still on going. In fact Arpaio has been obstructing the investigations by not allowing authorities to look at documents.

That's very old news Cerulean. It's been several months since MCSO decided to let the feds root around in their entire collection of documents and still they cannot find a shred of evidence of racial profiling against him. I think it's so cool how liberal judges like to award big payoffs to prisoners who were supposedly mistreated cause the sheriffs deputies didn't molly coddle them. Violent criminals commit acts of violence in tent city and you're surprised? Liberal judges cost us more than ILLEGAL aliens do. If they don't like the conditions now they will only get worse as the economy under this inept socialist president continues. Fighting illegal immigration costs a lot because of people like you Cerulean who aid and abet these criminal invaders.
