Now I realize why the Democrats and Hollywood have such a close affiliation: It’s all about portraying their acting skills as demonstrated by Mark Kelly, apparently boo-hooing on Gabby Gifford’s shoulder at a gun control demonstration (last week).
Man up Mark. It’s not like you’re the father of the bride.

The other day I went to American Sportsman wanting to buy shooting supplies. Like my last three tries the shelves were empty and there was about 75 people standing in line, asking what was going on, the sales clerk told me there was a truck coming in about three hours with amo and they were waiting in line not knowing that what they wanted was even on that truck. Stop being gun nuts and stop hording, you are not going to lose you rights to own a gun or purchase amo. It's a good thing I purchase my supplies a year in advance. NRA is making fools of you, that is why I dropped my NRA membership 50 years ago, because they were playing the same old song they are playing today. STOP BEING MORONS, THERE ARE MANY DEMOCRATS WHO ARE GUN OWNERS

Nearly half of men (47%) report personal ownership of guns, compared with just 13% of women.
Americans aged 18 to 29 are slightly less likely than those who are older to be gun owners. Only one in five 18- to 29-year-olds (21%) say they own a gun, while 32% of 30- to 49-year-olds and 31% of those aged 50 and older report ownership.
Roughly one in three Americans who live in the Midwest (34%) and the South (36%) say they personally own a gun. Ownership is lower among those residing in the East (22%) and the West (23%).
Forty-one percent of Republicans say they own a gun, compared with 27% of independents and 23% of Democrats.
One in three whites (33%) own a gun, while only about one in six nonwhites (18%) do

You could man up, yourself, Barry, by making a coherent point, in your letter...
There's just as many regressives in Hollywood (and California), as there are progressives, so no point there...
And, I'm pretty sure Mark Kelly doesn't need to prove to you, or anyone else, how much of a man he is...
Frankly, it's apalling that you are attacking a victim of gun violence, who is also an avid gun owner. Save your insipid, venomous remarks for those who have no skin in the game, mister. Or, better yet, try to come up with something more helpful and positive than, "Man up"...meanwhile, go back to your still--I think your latest batch of 'shine had a little too much wood alcohol in it...

In 2008, Rep. Gabby Giffords stated that she is a gun owner and supports the second amendment. Giffords signed onto an Amicus brief showing her support for the decision to end the Washington DC gun ban. She stated then that it was a common sense ruling that reaffirms the constitutional right.
Giffords and her husband, retired space shuttle commander Mark Kelly, have long been supporters of gun rights and owned handguns themselves.
Since the horrific shooting that wounded her and killed six people on January 8, 201, in Casas Adobes, Arizona, Giffords and Kelly have launched their political action committee, Americans for Responsible Solutions, and are advocates for new gun control measures. Giffords is urging key senators to support expanded background checks for gun purchases in a new television ad that has begun this month.
"Man up, Mark Kelly?"
Kelly has purchased an AR-15 assault rifle in Tucson. Kelly plans to keep the handgun, and said that it was important for him to have firsthand information on the ease of buying guns such as the AR-15 and that he looks forward to buying a firearm at a gun show in the future.

If Mark Kelly wants to be the next Arizona Governor or US Senator then he should...."MAN UP".....AND DO IT.........ON HIS OWN.
Anyone with two eyes can see how hard it is for Gabrielle Gifford to appear at public events. She can barely walk without assistance. She can barely speak more than a few words. She can barely even move her head or her arms and hands = LET THIS POOR WOMEN REST IN THE COMFORT OF HER OWN HOME.
WHAT WE SHOULD ALL BE ASKING OURSELVES IS WHY....GABRIELLE GIFFORD WHO WAS ONE OF THE FEW DEMOCRAT SUPPORTERS OF THE 2ND AMENDMENT TO THE US CONSTITUTION HAS NOW AN ADVOCATE FOR ....GUN CONTROL.
IS IT GABRIELLE GIFFORDS ?
IS IT MARK KELLY....HER POLITICALLY AMBITIOUS HUSBAND ?
OR IS IT THE DEMOCRAT PARTY ....WHO WE HAVE SEEN THROUGH THE LIKES OF SENATOR HARRY REID....NANCY PELOSI...ERIC HOLDER....JANET NAPOLITANO....AND BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA....WHO WILL DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO WIN.....EVEN DRAGGING AROUND THE COUNTRY A POOR RECOVERING SHOOTING VICTIM ????

Barry Jones’ letter is the epitome of bad taste. Using a national tragedy to degrade a political party shows just how far some will go to get a response. Inappropriate action was something Loughner himself undertook and we assume he is insaine. Those who accept this behavior are party to the act. Only bluepoet recognized Barry’s letter for what it is, and perhaps accuracy, who expressed no opinion. Of course, little leon, the troll of no character, tried to show that Mark is abusing his wife because of political ambition. It’s hard to tell which are meddling, crass or perhaps just downright ignorance.

Is this the same Mark Kelly that discreetly bought an AR15 rifle and a1911 style handgun recently at a Tucson gun store only to back peddle when found out? He weakly claims he made the purchases to show how easy it is to purchase a firearm in AZ. Oh yeah, he is for gun control as long as it is everyone else's guns. Another hypocrite DemocRat.

Despite all of the proposed barring assault weapons and high capacity magazines by Democrats and their gun control demonstrations, a ban on assault weapons WILL NOT be included in a gun control measure set to go to the U.S. Senate floor next month.

See. The Democrats in Congress and the President shouldn't ban guns. They should make it illegal to be a crazy person who goes on shooting rampages. Makes as much sense.

Slab... good to see you back. I expected better of you though... mixing innuendo with fact is a weak statement. Mark bought a couple of guns. Mark is a gun registration advocate. Mark is a democrat. All the rest of your comment is meaningless rhetoric.

Sock, I really don't care what you expect of me my friend. I don't post here to measure up to your expectations. Kelly is another hypocrite Dem that got caught buying the same rifle for protection that he is trying to get banned. When out hit the news he came up with a weak typical liberal excuse. End of story.
