Of all the offices contested in the upcoming primary election, one should be an absolute no-brainer for voters: superintendent of public instruction.
If you’ve researched the candidates and watched the debates on TV, it’s clear that there are only two candidates with credentials for the job: Democrat Penny Kotterman and Republican Margaret Dugan.
Both of these candidates have had long careers as public school teachers, both have excellent administrative experience, and both have visions for education grounded in reality.
Would you vote for a paralegal for attorney general? Would you vote for a grocery store cashier for state treasurer? Of course not! And no one should vote for anyone but two of the best educators in Arizona for superintendent of public instruction.

Obviously, the republicans didn't listen. I cannot believe that they voted for Huppenthal, a pure politician and nothing else. How could anyone with a informed decision have voted for that imbecile
