In the most recent of David Plouffe’s Organizing for America e-mailing’s (which go to friend and foe alike), he made the following claim:

“Over the last year and a half, President Obama and Democrats in Congress have stabilized our financial system, ended insurance company abuses, invested in private sector jobs, cut taxes for middle-class families, and established the strongest consumer financial protections in history.”

Are you kidding me? Does Obama, Plouffe, Axelrod, Emanuel, Reid, Pelosi or even Gibbs truly believe that open-minded, rational Americans (those that actually work, pay taxes and vote), believe this hype?

Obama’s legislation has had so many negative consequences that all of them should be repealed and abolished. His financial protection resulted in all credit card companies simply raising their rates. His health care reform (not as he wants to call it “health insurance reform”) has resulted in staggering increases in premiums and a massive exiting of doctors and hospitals from Medicare. As for jobs, please, someone tell me what Obama has done to create jobs. With 15 million-plus Americans out of work, whatever he is doing should be stopped before it reaches 16 million. If these are the things that the Democrats hope will turn the tide in their favor, best bring out the stretchers now, it’s going to be a long day come November 2nd.

Dan Watson, Gilbert
