Regressive thinkers like Paul Ryan and Harvard economists Carmen Reinhart and Kenneth Rogoff, who just had their invalid austerity facts exposed by three researchers from UMass, are running scared now. So scared, in fact, that they are talking CRAZY.

Even crazier than usual!

A few days ago Paul Ryan, in a speech to the conservative American Enterprise Institute, proclaimed that Progressives are “arrogant and condescending.”

This coming from Mitt Romney’s running mate? The same ‘humble Mormon leader’ that was caught telling another audience last fall that ‘47% of Americans were .... dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.’

Webster’s dictionary defines ‘arrogance’ as, ‘showing an offensive attitude of superiority.’

It defines ‘condescending’ as ‘showing or characterized by a patronizing or superior attitude toward others.’

Now can you imagine anything more “arrogant” and “condescending” than calling half your fellow citizens, ‘lazy, worthless freeloaders,’ totally clueless about the difficulties faced by millions of young families and single moms surviving on minimum wage incomes?

Progressives are not being arrogant or condescending when we remind voters of a simple fact most conservatives have forgotten. that all sound structures are built from the ‘ground up’ and not ‘the top down’ as they apparently still believe. Fair wages and full employment for the ‘47 percent’ will grow our economy faster than more top-loaded tax breaks!
