I thought I would write to point out the blatant hypocrisy of Congressman David Schweikert. You see, when pushing for the dollar coin, he “concedes that the dollar coin has not taken off, but argued that can be changed if Americans are forced to use them.” Can you imagine if a Democrat said that? The Republicans would jump all over it and say “How dare you restrict freedom of choice.” In fact, Congressman Schweikert often speaks out on the fact that we need free markets and less regulation. But what is forcing Americans to use dollar coins? Isn’t that just further government regulation, Congressman?

    I repeat.

In the Schweikert vs. Mitchell contest, Schweikert won but we lost! All you Tempe neo-cons out there have no one to blame but yourselves. This registered Republican volunteered for Mitchell. I did my part!

Right wingers ALWAYS want to force people to do things THEIR way.

They claim to believe in small / no government UNTIL it comes to an issue THEY support and then it suddenly should be a matter for the government to ENFORCE.

They right wingers would have no objection to a government division to do nothing but make sure every young girl remained a virgin until she was married.

Also a government division to patrol every doctors office to make sure there was no PRO CHOICE activity.

But a government program to help people such as a single payer health care system? NO WAY JOSE.

Unless the singly payer was a private insurance company and all medical health insurance HAD to be written by that company --- THEN THEY WOULD BE ALL FOR IT.

    AMERICANS ARE HURTING!
WHERE ARE THE JOBS? WHERE ARE THE JOBS? WHERE ARE THE JOBS? WHERE ARE THE JOBS? WHERE ARE THE JOBS? WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

I am sick and tired of the diversionary tactics employed by Republican elected officials and candidates. Abortion is NOT the issue! Gay marriage is NOT the issue! And whether the dollar should be a coin or a bill is CERTAINLY NOT the issue.

Congressman Schweikert why do you spend your time dealing with diversionary nonsense rather than something that would truly help Americans in their time of need?

DemocraticDad, Obama's campaign platform promised low unemployment and an 700 million stimulus was added to boot. So you tell me Obama supporter... WHERE ARE THE JOBS?
Let me guess... IT'S BUSH'S FAULT.

Slabside, I'll take it one step further. The Republicans have controlled the House of Representatives for almost a year. How many job bills have they introduced? Don't rack your brains trying to find the answer, because the answer is zero, zip, nada. Maybe you ought to tell the illustrous Congressman from CD5 that currently there are some things that are a little more important to Americans than if the dollar should be a bill or a coin.

And the Dems had control for 2 years before that. What happened? Obamacare shoved down our throats and trillions of dollars in debt. You are such a hypocrite.
