What can be going on in President Barack Hussein Obama's mind? Is there any reality in the equation? Just this week, unemployment numbers went back up to 408,000 Americans who applied for benefits. Inflation went up 1/2 of a percent in the month of July. Manufacturing is down. National housing sales are down. The VIT, the Investor Fear Quotient, is at 40 due to fears of a global banking meltdown. Gasoline is a whole dollar higher than a year ago. Food prices have skyrocketed. Utility costs, water, natural gas and electricity are at all-time highs.
What is the President of the United States of America, the leader of the free world, doing about all of these problems and crises? Obama is on a three-day middle America bus caravan in a brand-spanking new $1.1 million mega-bus. He is giving speeches in Decorah, Iowa (pop. 8,000), Cannon Falls, Iowa (pop. 4,000), Alpha, Ill. (pop. 671) and let's not forget, Atkinson, Ill. (pop. 972).
President Obama, forget about the 2012 election; get off the million dollar mega-bus; fly back to Washington, D.C.; then go into the Oval Office and sit down behind the presidential desk and at least make some type of attempt to solve one or all of these impending disasters to American citizens.
Is that too much to ask of our president while our brave military men and women are out there in harm's way, defending our great nation?
