Letters: Tillman shouldn't be forgotten

Thanks to Dr. Jeff Eger for his letter regarding the Tillman film and for the reminder of the 9/11 tragedy that reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice.

A soldier gives his life each time he/she signs the contract enlisting in military service, realizing his/her life may one day be taken.

Pat Tillman gave that life for this nation when he signed up for duty — a promise kept — a life taken which should not be in vain.

To forget soldiers like Pat Tillman is unacceptable.
