“I don’t get no respect.” How did Mitt Romney become the Rodney Dangerfield of Republican politics? He had and has everything going for him. Privileged childhood in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Cranbrook School, preparatory academy, BYU and Harvard diplomas (business and law), fantastic success in the business world (net worth $200-$300 million), beautiful wife, five sons (none of whom served in the U.S. military — apples don’t fall far from the tree), governor, Olympic Committee president, $12 million La Jolla, Calif. estate, other multi-million dollar homes. Mitt Romney lives the “perfect” Life.
Why then does poll after poll show Newt Gingrich beating him. Newt grew up in a broken home, lived as an Army brat following his step-dad from base to base. Newt went to public schools, Emory University. He lost two congressional campaigns before being elected. He clawed his way to the House Speakership. The Ethics Committee brought 84 charges against him. He paid a $300,000 fine. He resigned his Congressional seat. He has had numerous affairs and three wives. He changed his religion from Baptist to Catholic (usually the kiss of death in the South). Newt has broken all the rules, done all the wrong things, and yet Republicans still prefer Newt Gingrich or even a Herman Cain or Rick Perry over “Mr. Perfect,” “Mr. Family Man” Mitt Romney.
For some reason, be it gut feeling or intuition, religious prejudice, Mitt is “Mr. No Respect.”

Newt preferred to Mitt; because Mitt Romney stands for nothing at all, and he will lose this election.
