Hey folks, while we are focused on big-bad-guns, there is another thing going on, brought to you by the loonie- left.
They are trying to recall Sheriff Joe, and negate our vote.
Being the dysfunctional school yard teens that they are, they loath straight talking, no nonsense people such as Sheriff Joe. Those clowns need to be stopped, we need to validate our votes and keep the Sheriff in office and other Sheriffs like him. Many Sheriffs across the US have challenged the run-amock gangster behavior of the federal regime and I expect they will be attacked also. So donate time & money to support Sheriff Joe and tell those lefties where to Go!

Go Sheriff Joe, enforce all the laws all the time.

It’s the political committee Respect Arizona group, and Randy Parraz (president of Citizens for a Better Arizona – and a member of Respect Arizona) that wants to recall Sheriff Joe Arpaio – all because Sheriff Joe remains adamant about enforcing immigration laws.
To force a recall election in November they will need to collect more than 350,000 valid signatures of registered voters in Maricopa county before May 30.
Voters in Maricopa County convincingly re-elected Sheriff Joe, and he is now currently serving his sixth term here in office. Sheriff Joe says if people insist on a recall drive, he believes county voters know exactly "who they want in office and they won't be fooled by outside special interests."

Accuracy , exactly where did the vast majority of Russ's contributions come from?? OUT OF STATE!! Check the records, before shooting off your mouth.

Remember when the Liberal God Obama made the statement, " sometimes people just don't make the right decisions so we have to do it." So what it comes down to is we made the wrong choice for Sheriff so now they are going to help us make the correct choice. It appears the left does not care what the majority want, it's all about what THEY WANT!

GOP fund launched: Karl Rove's political action committee this week launched a new group to protect Republican senators from primary challenges by far-right and TEA PARTY conservatives. The Conservative Victory Project has been created by American Crossroads, the largest Republican Super PAC, in order to deter conservative challengers deemed to extremist to win Senate seats. The TEA PARTY EXPRESS denounced Rove and his allies, telling supporters, "we cannot allow them to pick winners and losers by funding elections with money!"

Jimmy Lee Dykes, 65, kidnapped a boy, identified only as Ethan, from a school bus after fatally shooting the driver. Dykes a anti-government survivalist, was known around the small town of Midland City for patrolling his property with a gun and threatening to shoot trespassers. Dykes sounds like a far right extremist, who set up two bombs in the bunker.

Regardless of what you think of Arpaio -- and I think he's the Blackest Mark in Arizona history -- there's no way we need a recall.
Nothing has happened between the November election and now that would even remotely suggest a recall.
This is a group with the moolah to run a recall campaign, leaving us, the taxpayers, footing the election bill.
Nope, we had a chance to "recall" Arpaio in the last election, and the majority -- barely -- voted to retain him in office.
That's the end of that. The recall's absurd.

Hold on a second. It's mostly Republican businessmen who want to employ the illegals.
They provide the money behind all the pro-illegal propaganda.
And, don't forget too that it is Republicans in the Arizona Legislature that file lawsuit after lawsuit using State money to force their personal beliefs on ALL the voters, in their quest to overturn the Medical Marijuana Law.
I've been accused of blaming everything on Republicans, but YOU blame everything on Liberals.
You conveniently ignore the Abuse of Power by Arizona Legislators who happen to be Republicans.

RECALL SHERIFF ARPAIO NOW
Recall, rather obviously, always occurs AFTER an election. If elections were the final word, there would be no recall in our Constitution. Saying there should be no recall after an election is like saying you shouldn’t fix the car after it just broke.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s election of November 2012 had no debate, no joining of the issues, uncounted provisional ballots sufficient to change the outcome, and $8.2 million of out of state money used to buy the election. $8.2 million in a Sheriff's election! That’s more than all of the Sheriff's elections in all of the counties in Arizona in the last 100 years COMBINED. More than any other Sheriff's race in the United States, EVER.
But besides all of that, the result is unwise, immoral and unjust. In law there is not a remedy for every wrong, but in the case of Arizona elections there is a remedy: the recall.
The abuses of Sheriff Arpaio are far too numerous to even mention in less than an encyclopedia. Even the least of these, the financial, represents such an immense abuse of the taxpayers. The magnitude is hard to comprehend. A single example: just after the election, the Brillard wrongful death case from 2005 was finally settled after 8 years of litigation at a cost to County taxpayers of over $6 million including legal and other fees and expenses. Considerably more if one considers the time of County employees over eight years of litigation. None of it covered by insurance.
A few days later another case, this one from 2003 but not involving a death, was settled for $813,600, and, who can imagine how much in legal and other fees and expenses after nine years of litigation. There are many other cases still pending from 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and many from 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 that are not yet cases. The ultimate cost of these will approach a Billion dollars. Totally unprecedented in law enforcement in all the rest of the United States.
The recall is an echo of the Petition of Right passed in 1628 despite the objections of King Charles I. Its emblematic expression is most fitting in today’s situation:
LET RIGHT BE DONE
King Charles, by the way, was beheaded.

RECALL ARPAIO
bobunf posted at 11:46 pm on Sat, Feb 9, 2013.
Arpaio is NOT doing his job. That is a complete joke. Look it up. It’s easy; it’s all online on the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s website.
Their reports show that:
From 2002 to 2011 the number of violent crimes in areas served by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office increased by an incredible 41%. That’s 41% MORE murders, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults than 9 years ago.
For the parts of Maricopa not served by the Sheriff, there was a 19% drop in violent crime for the same period. That’s 19% FEWER murders, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults than 9 years ago.
Maricopa has become a “sanctuary county” for burglars, thieves, rapists, child molesters and murderers.
What words are there for that dismal performance on the part of Sheriff Arpaio?
Utter dangerous incompetence.

Recall election?
They just HAD a recall election two months ago.
Looks like the pro-illegals have taken a lesson from Arizona's Republican Legislators who refuse to accept the will of the people and keep filing lawsuit after lawsuit, losing every time, with the State's money.
I suppose we can look forward to a recall attempt every two months until they get their way and Sheiff Joe is gone.
And they call this democracy?
No it's thugocracy ... people forcing their desires on everyone who disagrees with them.

Can't the pro-illegal people behind this " recall " election be prosecuted for harrassment?

bobunf: you said " From 2002 to 2011 the number of violent crimes in areas served by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office increased by an incredible 41%. "
Why don't you also publish the increase in population during those years?
About 300% which would mean Sheriff Joe has done a great job to keep the increase in crime down to only 41%.
And, a HUGE percentage of the increase in population in Sheriff Joe's area was INVADING ALIENS. Who are criminals just by virtue of BEING here illegally.
You pro-illegal people talk about the number of unsolved sex crimes in Sheriff Joe's department and IGNORE the fact that the Police Departments of PHOENIX, TEMPE, AND MESA each one has more unsolved sex crimes than Sheriff Joe.
Of course, that doesn't matter to you. You think it is perfectly ok to trumpet half-truths and lies in order to get your way.
bobunf posted at 9:01 am on Sun, Feb 10, 2013.
Sheriff Joe is so special. Crime goes up in his areas and down everywhere else. Criminals just love Joe.
Not to mention he's the most expensive Sheriff in the history of the United States - by miles.
And, yes we had an election three months ago (I guess counting isn't your strong point, Willie). That was an election with no debate, with Arpaio's opponent outspent 8 to 1, with Arpaio's money coming almost totally from out of state, with enough uncounted provisional ballots to change the outcome, and with a result that is really bad for Maricopa, for Arizona and for our country.
That's what the recall is for. Amazingly enough, they always happen AFTER an election.

Russell Pearce, Joe Arpaio, JT Ready, Greg Western, the list goes on and on, are all cut from the same bolt of cloth. The rules don't apply to them.
Can't leave Lester off that list, too.
And, since when do you make the rules?

Does that include Republican attorney William James Fisher?
Republican Fisher is the chairman of – ‘Respect Arizona’ – the political action committee which he formed to gather signatures to trigger a special election to recall Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. All because of “Arpaio’s approach to immigration enforcement” . . . so Fisher says.

Some people just cannot accept results that don't go in their favor. This isn't something new. There are numerous examples from the past. Roe v Wade for one and Walker in Wisconsin is another. It's part of the American political system. Live with it or change it.
