Why are the American people being fed nothing but lies about the Benghazi, Libya Embassy Attack and the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens? Obama’s UN Ambassador Susan Rice was all over the news programs spouting the Administration’s lie about the Benghazi Embassy attack being “spontaneous,” brought about “solely” to protest the latest anti-Islam “home movie.”
While Ambassador Rice was spinning her tale, the news program’s hosts were showing “live” the Libyan president of the General National Congress, Mohamed al-Margarif, telling the “real” story, that the protest was nothing but a cover for a carefully planned attack to take place on 9/11 when a spy told them that Ambassador Chris Stevens would be in Benghazi for a local meeting. Mr. al-Magarif went on to say that dozens of men thought to be involved in the attack had been arrested. There were some foreigners from Mali and Algeria but most were either al-Quaeda affiliates or sympathizers. They used automatic assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades and even mortars.
Even as Ambassador Susan Rice was being confronted with Libya’s General National Congress President, Mr. al- Mararif’s statement, she kept on repeating over and over the same White House-scripted lies.
President Obama has no qualms about spinning lies to the American people about the attack on an American Embassy and the first murder of an American Ambassador for decades and decades. Is there anything that this president will “not” do to be re-elected ?
Folks, “fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.”

Leon, I am so glad you are a expert on this terrorest attack in Lybia. My unserstanding is the FBI had been denied acess to the sight. Tell us Leon as a good christen should we drop a few hundred bombs on Lybia or better lets drop a nuclear bomb, I know you GOD would approve. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Nobody can claim this has been handled anywhere near properly. A very sad comedy of errors.
However, I do object to McCain's claim that Obama was "responsible" for this attack because of his failed policies. The terrorists are the ones responsible, just like 9-11.

Leon, what lies are you talking about?
Take a lesson from your fellow loony commenter, mrconservative.
He lies, then when caught claims he "just didn't know".
Why is it good enough for him (and you, by extension) but no one else?

You’ve got that right Leon Ceniceros…..
Right after the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said the attack was not premeditated. Obama’s Administration and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney denied any act of planned terrorism saying that the protests were in reaction to an anti-Muslim video promo that's being used across the Muslim world as a pretext for anti-Western violence.
Top Libyan officials said the attack was planned in advance. And it took over a week after the incident for the White House to finally admit that Americans had been attacked by terrorists.
The obvious lesson we can learn from the events unfolding across the Middle East is that it accomplishes nothing to attempt to appease Islam, al-Qaeda and the jihadists. In spite of all the expressions of disgust, American flags are still being burned in the Middle East by terrorists.

Leon,
Your are right on. The liberal/progressives can't face the truth that Obama and his administration are misleading and hiding from the failure to protect out people. Any investigation into the Obama administration's failure to protect our citizens will only be completed after the election as will as the investigation into the intelligence leaks from the White House.
We need leadership in the White House and it's time to let Obama go.

Leon, what makes you believe we don't have the truth?
Rush said so? ha ha ha ha
Sure the administration was wrong about what brought the attack on.
What difference does it really make if the terrorists had been planning the attack for six months or two days?
What difference does it make if they organized the attack because of the video or if they had it set up for different reasons?
How would having Romney in office have prevented the attack?
Oh, yeah, wouldn't have made any difference.
Blaming Obama for the attack is like blaming the Universe for making the solar system work in such a way that the sun comes up in the East.

To all the anti-Obama posters --- just hang in there a few more months and you will have your turn again.
After the " debate " last night it is obvious Obama doesn't want the job anymore.
He showed up but that was all.
No fire, no interest.
He appears to be sick of the whole mess and ready to go back to Chicago.
However, be advised that you only have 18 months to turn the whole situation around and produce full employment. You didn't even give Obama that long.
You will now have to try to finish cleaning up the mess made by Bush.
Enjoy.

What difference does it make how long they were planning it for? I am guessing Chris Stevens would have liked to know. Pretty laise fair attitude that "sure the administration got it wrong". What else have they gotten wrong, that they knew about, and yet told us something completely different knowing full well the truth would come out soon? Interesting, we are still laying a huge mess a the foot of President Bush. What mess might we assign if Romney wins to President Obama? My guess is we won't hear that nothing can be done and it was all the predecessors fault if Romney wins. He seems much more (wait) Presidential.

And when will we get the truth? Going to say a little after the beginning of November if all things go right.

VofReason ... if you think Romney is going to blow the whistle on the failure to have predicted the assault on the Embassy you will be greatly disappointed.
If some government official was at fault ( a huge if ) it will not see the light of day for 100 years. Historians may write about it, but not as long as the individuals are still alive.
Presidents are figureheads. They do NOT have unlimited power.
Just as Presidents can't fire members of Congress who don't obey them and vote the way the President wants them to ... there are many bureaucrats and civil servants that don't really care what the President says either.
The President has to be a motivator and conciliator who can persuade different groups to work together.
The common expression is that it's like herding cats.
Right after a President is elected, they sit him down and explain the facts of life to him.
Often a newly elected President thinks he is in charge and he is running things.
They quickly disabuse him of such laughable concepts.
