Why is it that whenever I see commercials which show people advertising clothing, they all appear to be 30 years of age or younger? I believe the clothing industry is making a huge mistake in not catering to the older people who actually purchase clothes. I am not a senior citizen who sits home and complains; I am a vital, full-time employed, black belt-holder senior citizen. However, it is annoying to think that the clothing industry and media have swept us under the rug like so much dust. When we go out to buy clothes, we want to buy something we like and not something you (clothing industry) want us to buy.
I don’t want to look like a 30-year-old. Seniors who try to look like 30-year-olds look ridiculous. I personally don’t particularly care for the way 30-year-olds dress. Why can’t you understand that?
