Immigration reform, what’s being “reformed”? All I see coming from President Obama, Hispanic activists and sadly our Arizona “Republican In Name Only” (R.I.N.O.) Senators John “Keating Five” McCain and Jeff “S.T.R.I.V.E. Act” Flake is 100 percent Amnesty.

Has any illegal alien amnesty advocate ever even mentioned “deportation”? The answer is no because there will be no deportation. Every single one of the 20 million to 30 million illegal aliens (80 percent from Mexico) in this country or soon will be in this country will become de-facto American citizens (driver’s licenses and voter registration cards).

The U.S. born and legally naturalized American taxpayers will now have tens of millions of newly minted dependents to pay for. These millions of newly-minted Americans will now be eligible for Social Security, disability insurance, welfare, food stamps, HUD and Section-8 housing and free utilities, and don’t forget Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare because they sure won’t.

What they don’t get under this immigration reform, the A.C.L.U. and the Mexican-American Legal Defense Fund will sue all the way to the Supreme Court to get from our soon- to-be Liberal-dominated Supreme Court, to make sure that they get every single crumb from the American “Pie”.

While Obama and the pro-amnesty Democrats and R.I.N.O.’s are forfeiting America’s monetery treasure, why not change the American flag to reflect America’s new demographics. Or maybe the Pledge of Allegiance will be said in Spanish, so as not to embarrass these newly-minted American (of if they prefer, “Americanos”).

I, for one, hope that I am long gone before Old Glory becomes red, white, blue and green.

How about we give them green cards and a place at the end of the line and they give up welfare, chain migration and no birthright citizenship for babies born to illegal parents.

We are going to give " de facto " citizenship to 30 million invading hispanics but if a Haitian makes it into the U.S.A., and gets caught, he is sent back immediately.

If a Cuban gets caught in a boat or swimming to get to the U.S. he is immediately returned to Cuba.

But hispanics? Welcome amigos, como esta?

I propose, that in the interest of fairness and equality and non-discrimination, that we send ships to China and Haiti and Africa and bring 30 million of those poor folks here so they can improve life for THEIR families.

But, something tells me that if a lawmaker proposed to bring in non-hispanic workers like that, that La Raza and the hispanic community would be after his head and dragging an effigy behind their pickemup trucks flying the Mexican flag.

Alas, Comprehensive Immigration reform is coming to fruition. This of course is code for amnesty. Strangly, when so inclined, America has done amazing things in short periods of time- example the Alaskan Highway. It can surely shut down the border, but apparently does not really want to. Strangly, for all the talk, no one ever seems to make noise about strealining the legal process of immigration. Obviously it would not entail droves of low to no skilled workers, but would seem to shut up the fools who only want everyone to look the other way for people who come over illegally.

McCain stated that he wants the "11 million people to come out of the shadows." He is more concerned about these 11 million (really 20-30 million) illegal aliens than he is about the 24 million Americans that are without jobs. Whatever happened to jobs being #1 issue? I am even more concerned because each illegal alien that becomes a citizen can bring all of their families into our country. Our population is going to explode to over 400 million. How are we going to support all of these deadbeats on our welfare programs? Their heads of household aren't going to be able to support them without government assistance.

TruthSeeker: There is a direct correlation between the number of invading aliens and the number of unemployed Americans.

Business has exported all the jobs that they can and now it wants to import cheap labor for the jobs that they cannot export.

The media ( all owned by big business conglomerates ) for the last 10 years has been deluging the public with pro-illegal s*o*b stories to sway public opinion to allow the illegals to stay.

One of my life's amusing ironies is that the E.V.T had a journalist with the Pulitzer, but also does not have the editorial discernment to stop itself from being hijacked by Leon C.

But as I am here, I'll share my thoughts on immigration, in particular, illegal immigration-

I don' t have an issue with some variation of the Dream Act. Those that were brought here by their parents as small children have failed to have the intent to commit a crime. I'm not sure if there is a "mens rea" requirement for illegal presence or illegal entry (I doubt there is), but even if there isn't presently, personally I think it matters. So I support some version of the Dream Act.

Second, I accept that just purely from a financial perspective, rounding up and deporting all illegal aliens is too high a cost for too low a reward, so I'm ok with some form of legalization of these folks, provided it come with a fine, alignment with the proper procedures already in place, and a commitment to secure the border from here on out.

I don't think it's reasonable to attempt to deport everyone who is here now and it serves us no reward, only the cost. Let's get something out of them in the form of a fine and future taxes going forward.

And finally, I'll add, conservatives need to continue to try and be more compassionate about this. These are real people who have violated our law, yes, but many did it out of desperation for a better life. Most conservatives are religious and believe in the bible. Is this not comparable to the parable of the Good Samaritan. Are we not all here in violation of the original owners?

I know criminal activity by illegals is a problem too. Perhaps we just focus on those and let the others into the system I described above.

I don't know. I'm just tired of demonizing illegals. What are we getting out of it?
    What's the end game?
