I would like to address the supposed ban President Obama and Governor Brewer put on Spice, K2 and Bath Salts:

These are still being sold at many smoke shops in Arizona!

If the stores get raided they just order more “Spice” from a foreign country with a new name on the label. There are five smoke shops in a three-mile radius in my neighborhood in north Phoenix.

“Spice” can be purchased by anyone. This means teens or adults are getting severely addicted to it. Once you start smoking it you crave more and more of it so they get richer and richer at the smoke shop.

The mental health community is becoming more aware of this addiction which is very hard to stop due to the affects it is having on the users brain. The mental health community has remarked that it is worse than marijuana addiction, yet you can buy it at almost any smoke shop.

I believe the only way to stop the sale is to close down all of the smoke shops that sell anything other than cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco which is bad enough for our health.

Everywhere you turn in Phoenix, Scottsdale, etc., there is another smoke shop opening. It is time we really do something about this! It is ruining lives of all ages!

It can happen to anyone. How would you feel if it were your son or daughter?
