I'd say today's equal rights struggle is more focused on equality of the sexes, both same-sex attracted and opposite-sex attracted, than on discrimination against women. Perhaps women need to join in with this movement.

The Roberts Court have allotted more ‘rights’ or privilege to corporations (non-people) than they have to real, life giving citizens.
That said, I sometimes think women are their own worst repressors. And that is disheartening.
Accuracy, thank- you for sharing the link. I prefer the start-over strategy rather than the three-state approach.

“Is today the dawn of a new ERA?” It is good to hope.

    "Dawn of a new ERA?"

Better yet, read the article by Barbara Hannah Grufferman: “Will America Kill the Equal Rights Amendment?”

Can a country that prides itself as the leader and protector of democracy in the world, and one which implores other countries to include the word "women" in their constitutions, still not protect the rights of women in its own?
