Ironically a story came out in the news today that is far more revealing of candidate Romney and what he “really thinks” than this kooky commentary by Percell.
In front of a group of private donors to his campaign, Romney said, “We’ll see capital come back and we’ll see – without actually doing anything - we’ll actually get a boost in the economy.”
Romney is SO optimistic that he believes he does not have to do anything, that his mere presence in the White House will cast a spell on government and the economy, that all that is required of his vast intellectual capacity is merely that he (he and his Israeli advisers) exist.

Interestingly, if you follow economics, most track with forward perception. An example is that stocks don't necessarily go up, just becuase a company showed a profit in the quarter. It will if the market percieves they will do well in the next quarter. Similarly, if the Government announced that they were removing all barriers to drilling oil today, gas prices would fall very soon without any real physical change in activity. If President Obama loses in November, the Market will react and the economy will jump.

“Similarly, if the Government announced that they were removing all barriers to drilling oil today,. . .”
This is where the Republican Party really wants to keep people dependent – oil, filthy, destructive, expensive oil. Never mind that the glaciers are melting. Hark, pay no heed to the melting glaciers, we can pump as much oil as we need to be energy independent. All it takes is the destruction of our fresh water supplies. Oil – yuk!
