Far too many people working at cross purposes yielding the opposite of progress. The problem is that this is just one program, and most of government operates in this fashion. Several times the manpower necessary working at cross purposes to one another, eating up insurance, benefits, building pensions, retiring and double dipping. This type of thing is neither isolated, nor unique, it is rather typical of how a governmental bureaucracy works, why we are broke on nearly all levels of government and why most governmental programs are an advance to the rear.

This operation had less to do with fighting crime than with advancing a crucial element in Obama's "fundamental transformation of America" -- to wit, the repression of American gun rights. The objective was not to nail Mexican drug lords but to "salt" the Mexican crime scene with guns illegally obtained in the U.S., the way swindlers used to salt worthless mines with gold to gull potential buyers. That way the proportion of American-bought guns confiscated by Mexican police would be high enough to justify that country's constant complaints about the U.S. as a gun source -- and to lay the political groundwork for a future push by the Obama adminstration for more gun control, a prospect first raised by Attorney General Eric Holder on Feb. 25, 2009. See http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=6960824&page=1 for details on the latter.

You know...I read this article and was very impressed that there were not corrosive attacks on Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. I thought maybe you can teach a dog new tricks. While the.....OBAMA ADMINISTRATION....is never mentioned for any ...BLAME (come on guys, he isn't going to change completely overnight)....he did mention ...in little tiny "lower case"...the....FEDS.....that was a break-through as Mr. Monk's shrink would say...a .."BREAK-THROUGH"...and didn't our elders admonish us to be...."THANKFUL FOR SMALL MIRACLES" ???
One of these days....maybe we will be treated to an article on the "SLAP ON THE WRIST" probation punishment in the "Hit and Run" Homicide case of the Past Roman Catholic Bishop of Phoenix that was prosecuted by the past Maricopa County Attorney.
