BRICK to Michael Moore, the Leni Riefenstahl wannabe whose "Farenheit 9/11" opened at theaters in the Islamic Republic of Iran to coincide with the third anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 atrocity, according to the Web site www.middle-eastonline.com.

And another BRICK to the fanatical filmmaker, whose April 14 assertion on his own Web site (www.michaelmoore.com) that Iraqi insurgents are not "terrorists" but "the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow — and they will win" has now been echoed by al- Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in a tape aired on al-Jazeera: "The defeat of America in Iraq and Afghanistan has become a matter of time, with God’s help."

BOUQUET to Countrywide Financial Corp. for its announcement to greatly expand its Chandler operation by 2,000 employees. Chandler economic development director Garrett Newland says salaries are expected to average about $40,000 for employees involved in financial services, loan processing and information technology.

BOUQUETS to all candidates in Tuesday’s primary who gave voters meaningful choices. But BRICKS to those losing candidates who haven’t taken their campaign signs down by now.
