"Politictians are like diapers; they have to be changed regularly."

"Many years ago an old man told me not to do two things: smoking cigarettes and giving my hard-earned money to the state by way of buying lottery tickets. I passed that info down to my kids and they also believe today that smoking and the lottery are stupid bad habits. The price of tickets will go up because there's always going to be people that need to be entertained with gambling."

"Don't wait for some big corporation, or worse yet, the government, to make use of solar power. I bought a commercial solar oven for under $200 and Arizona is the perfect place to use one year 'round. I have baked, roasted and even steamed foods in it during every month of the year. My kitchen oven stays off and my A/C doesn't have to work harder to cool a hot kitchen. At least for now, sunshine is free, although I'm sure bureaucrats at the city, county, state and federal level are working feverishly to put and end to that."

"Watching a documentary of Ruby Ridge, I was reminded why we need to stand vigilant in protecting our 2nd Amendment rights. The U.S. government made a criminal out of a law-abiding citizen who believed in the Constitution, then succeeded in killing his dog, shooting and killing his 13-year-old son (shooting him in the back) and killing his wife."

    Arizona Willie,

And where did you come from?

    First Venter:

Changed or balanced. I found Harry Mitchell to be an excellent voice of balance. I regret seeing him get changed. His replacement has been disasterours.

    Second Venter:

At least in Vegas they give you a free roll of nickles to get you started and hooked.

    Third Venter:

And building your own solar oven is feasible, too!

    Fourth Venter:

There is no denying that the authorities overstepped their bounds at Ruby Ridge, However if I recall correctly, this Rubby Ridge guy was not without fault. Tell the rest of the story before you claim that he was fully within his rights.
