Now why would some “journalist” assume the tea party is losing influence? The RNC convention was full of members. I have to wonder where such “journalists” get their views. The last time I checked, the tea party was gaining influence.

Let’s put it this way: President Obama is losing support and popularity due to his failed economic plan. He is losing or is even with Mitt Romney in the polls(which typically lean Democrat). The tea party sits firmly behind Mitt Romney and is against the policies of the Obama administration, which has a steady promise to raise taxes (and not only on the rich).

Obamacare will raise taxes to the middle class as well. In addition, Obama has vowed time and time again, to do away with the Bush tax cuts. The tea party stands behind its principles. With unemployment rising, gas prices on the rise, Obamacare, illegal immigrant amnesty, corruption at its highest, the tea party is making its voice heard. When government can’t balance their own budget and continues to spend and spend, raising taxes on any of its citizens (whom they serve) is anti-American. Get your house in order before you consider taxing the American people more.

The TEA (taxed enough already) party is alive and well and will continue to be, as long as the government is out of control on spending.
