Not fitting in exactly, I'm not quite sure where you are going. Yes, it's a rigged horse race, but there is, along with it a Dutch Book. Because, in the end we all know the enemy when we meet him, Pogo told us. I expect that if you understand that, you also understand how you have been answered. If not, I'd take some time out to understand American culture before writing about it.

The OWS and 99%ers are just following Obama's lead. Blame everything on someone else and never take responsibility for your actions.
For the OWS and 99%ers to succeed they would have to shred the Constitution and us 53% will not let that happen.

Tina,
I happen to agree with the lady in Jersey, "It's about personal responsibility!"- she had none. But then, neither did Wall Street.
I like this quote:
"The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you don't listen to it, you will never know what justice is." unknown author

I continue to encourage you to take your talent to the NY Times. Your prose is beautiful but your broad definition of who is Occupy Wall Street is off target. The occupiers want to believe that the 1 percent is Gordon Gekko stepping on their throat. Half the protesters are aged 20–29, highly educated, in hock up to their ears in student-loan debt, and unemployed. Surely this is someone's fault. Maybe take a look at the off-limits educational system that got them there.
