Mr. McVickers (Letters, Sept. 12) appears to be concerned about the funding of health care for some persons. He states “...non-citizens and illegal aliens living amongst us will not have to be insured. In other words, the rest of us will continue to fund their health care as we do now.”
Perhaps we should be considering a rather simple solution to this matter: Allow non-citizens and illegal aliens (especially those from other planets) to purchase health care without having to prove citizenship. In fact, require them to do so!

… "Non-citizens and illegal aliens living amongst us will not have to be insured."
… "Allow non-citizens and illegal aliens (especially those from other planets) to purchase health care without having to prove citizenship."
Aspects of the health care law shows it is now happening . . .
ObamaCare, or the America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009, or H.R. 3200:
Section 152 is a discrimination clause that basically says that all health services "covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services." Citizenship is not mentioned. ObamaCare will be provided to all; US citizens and non US citizens, illegal or otherwise.
Section 246 on page 143 under the heading of "NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS" says, "Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."
