I once heard that the media cannot tell you what to think, but they can tell you what to think about. That seems to be the case after a few editorials and some letters to the editor regarding our legislature’s move to let college students bring their guns on to college campuses. If those letters and articles hadn’t appeared, people might never have known that such a law was even proposed. They read about it and responded with their letters with reason and persuasion that let others know what a bad idea this is. They thought about it and now Sen. Gould’s guns-on-campus bill has died. The people reacted and let our legislators know they didn’t want this law. It’s a good thing.

Ya it's a good thing that you can wipe your behind on the US Constitution whenever you feel like it. Oh it's so great that responsible adults wont be able to exorcise their constitutional rights on campus. I'm so happy for you complainers. Truth is the liberal elitist educator's threat to waste gobs of money on signs and lockers is what killed the bill.

LOL that is so funny to hear your wild imagination. Ya right just imagine the slaughter if 50 responsible adults pulled their weapons just cause some cops came to school. WOW, do you even read the stuff you write? Where are you seeing 50 people anywhere pulling guns when something goes down? Responsible gun owners that carry concealed never pull their weapon unless confronted directly with a threat. To do otherwise would be insane. Are you like some little kid that thinks he know what happens in the real world? Tell me where in AZ does anything like what you describe happen, or is this just happening in your dreams? What makes you think people carrying concealed on campus is going to be any different than any other place in AZ? Are their even 50 adult students over 21 on campus at any one time? Of those how many do you think have or will get their permits to carry concealed? Of those that even get one how many do you think will actually carry on campus? Are you starting to see how rediculous your fears really are yet? You are afraid so we must relinquish our constitutional rights? Really?
