I think even vice mayors should think before they tweet.
When Chandler Vice Mayor Jeff Weninger tweeted that Obama was coming to Intel to take credit for Chandler's hard work it appears that Wenniger had not yet checked with the president on what he was going to say. It turns out Obama came to praise Intel for keeping jobs in America. Intel, by the way is on the president's jobs committee. So maybe there's some communication going on at a higher level than the Vice Mayor's office. It turns out that Chandler didn't keep jobs in America, only in Chandler. So maybe it was Weninger taking credit for Intel's hard work. So much for your 15 minutes Mr. Vice Mayor.

I've heard our President use words/terms like: Immigration reform (AMNESTY); "share the wealth" (Socialism).

Why is it that right wingers complain so much about Obama taking a trip in his role as President but they didn't mind Bush the Lessor taking trip or even spending 1/3 of his time at the ranch on vacation?
Obviously there is no radical partisanship in these forums.

The good Vice-Mayor of Chandler, Jeff Weninger, was only going by precedent. Obama has a track record of going to a company and claiming that his Administration's Stimulus (more properly, STIMU-LESS) $100 Billion (with a "B") Dollar "Tax & Spend Giveaway) Program was the reason anything and everything positive in the Economy was happening.
Vice-Mayor Weninger was just remembering Obama on one of his "Campaign 2012 Self-Promotion Junkets" to ........SOLYNDRA and ENER1....both of which declared bankruptcy and both of which received Obama Stimu-Less Tax-Payer Millions; Solyndra to the tune of $500 Million Dollars down the porcelain throne and Ener1's $100 Million Dollar Stimu-Less Loan (they are still operating but for how long is the $100 Million Dollar Question).
Vice-Mayor Jeff Weninger...the last time I looked the Obama Administration hadn't exchanged Old Glory for the Bandera Flag of Mexico.....so keep on using your "free speech" guaranteed under the US Constitution.
