Looks like I made a minor error in my recent letter (Tribune, Oct. 9; evtnow.com/5xz). It was Plessy v. Ferguson that declared racial segregation in schools legal, not Brown v. Board of Education. I wish the Tribune would correct those errors when they’re made. I admit it, I goofed.

However, some corrections from a few online commenters are in order.

Get this — one online commenter called my letter “baloney”! Ha! If that person would just do his homework, and not goof off, he would realize that I spoke the truth when referring to the cost of Obamacare. Look it up, people!

My party believes in freedom from government. The liberals believe in complete control — from cradle to grave, womb to the tomb — that’s what most of them believe in.

Also, I am not a Kool-Aid drinker. I’ve never really liked John McCain. I only voted for him in 2008 because he was better than the alternative.

And I wish John Boehner would just resign. Not just from his Speakership - from his House position as well. We need a real competent person in that position.

The “Tea Party Traitors” as one person called them are actually “Tea Party Patriots” — and they have no real power to change the law. We want freedom from the tyranny of government, especially the evils of Obamacare.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again: I will NEVER, ever obey this unjust law. An unjust law is no law at all, as Martin Luther King, Jr. said. You can keep your Agenda 21 trash away from me. I’ll take true freedom.
