Well, we have seen 10-plus assorted letters to the editor, columnist's columns and Vents all portraying the president as a victim of a horrendous insult. What a hoot?

President Obama acted like a spoiled child, not like a man.

A man would have heard a lady out no matter if he agreed with her or not for courtesy's sake. He would have been gracious at all times. Instead, the world sees "put-upon" Obama turning his back not only on a lady but a governor.

No wonder none of the other world leaders have any respect for Obama. He has such little pride in himself and his nation that he is constantly apologizing for everything that America stands for. Just look at how Obama denigrates America in front of the United Nations. When he visits other world leaders he bows down to them like a underling instead of an equal.

If Obama and Margaret Thatcher had ever had a disagreement, she would have wiped his patootie all over the floor. Just look at Israel's Prime Minister Bebe Netanyaho. Obama told him to stop building in the West Bank or he would cut off aid to Israel. Netanyahu told Obama not once, not twice, but three times to blow it out his snoz-ola.

Mr. Obama, we all know who wears the pants in the private quarters of the White House, but when you are flying all over America in your "Campaign 2012" mode ... try to always act like a gentleman should.

When has he apologized? When has he denigrated the USA? Can you cite the time, place, exact words? No? I thought not.

@geekette, "Can you cite the time, place, exact words? No? I thought not."

Looks like Dale has another alias.

No, Slabside, I am not geekette and my point is quite seperate from hers.

Leon, just how does a spoiled child behave? When a spoiled child does not get its way, it complains, usually publically and loudly. The parent of that spoiled child attempts to correct it, usually privately and with some degree of patience.

President Obama invited Brewer to the White House where in characterizing that meeting, Brewer complained loudly and in public writing that she was mistreated. At the next meeting Brewer asked for another meeting by presenting a letter to the President. When asked what the letter addressed, Brewer explained that it requested a second meeting. To this the President explained his disappointment in Brewer's prior complaining and at first declined. Brewer started pointing her finger, this in public, so the President broke off contact.

Clearly Brewer is the spoiled child and the President is the adult.

Yes and conversly, the Boston Police acted "stupidly" when they arreseted Obama's (similarly) communist radical Professor friend for resisting arrest.. But that was different, Brewer illegal immigrant averse, Obama's friend socialist friend to the left. Yes, that Obama certainly operates above the fray. Just really adult like. If that would have happened pre 2008, we would be complaining about McCain instead.

    VofReason, you claim to be!

Let's review the facts. You claim that the Harvard History professor, some how "Obama's (similarly) communist radical Professor friend" was arrested "for resisting arrest!" No, VoSomething or Other. He was arrested for speaking out foolishly after the officer entered his home and investigated a rather stupid and uninformed neighbor's complaint. What did this black man who must have experienced racial profiling countless times all throughout his life say from his front porch as the officer was exiting down his walk way? In effect, if he were not a black man, the officer hearing that stupid complaint probably would have dismissed it and never have knocked on the door. Who can say? He might have been right.

Consider that upon learning about the facts of this matter, the Cambridge Police Department walked this back immediately, releasing the professor and expressing regret for the arrest. Then the big man on campus, the Washington D.C. White House campus, invited both for a couple of beers and they made up!

So here again, the President of these United States did the responsible, grown up thing. The history professor was over-reacting as those who have been unreasonably profiled might. And the policeman who ought to have known better, in effect had his hands slapped by his department.

    So what's your point again?

Dale: I'd like to understand why you support Obama so. It's so clear to me not to....

    Mr. 666, OK. Here goes!

Recall the sage saying of one Will Rogers. He never met a man he did not like! Coming to like a candidate well enough to support him requires studying him. When presented with the McCain/Palin vs. Obama/Biden choice in 2008, I took the time necessary to read up on all four.

Biden had a history of public service through a period of personal tragedy. I liked Biden. Palin was also a public servant, but one without distinguishing service. She blew it several times, i.e. the "bridge to nowhere" and the Alaskan Government owned and controlled pipeline are two examples. TransCanada and Exxon called her bluff and the American People won. Palin wanted to charge for the use of that pipeline by Exxon so that Alaskans could continue not having to pay income taxes. Exxon knew that their going through Canada would mean cheaper oil for the lower 48.

I read McCain's book, Faith of My Fathers, coming to realize what a dissapointment he had been to his father and grandfather, an unfaithful academy midshipman, an unfaithful husband to his first wife and children, an unfaithful pilot in the Navy, having crashed more aircraft during peace time than any other, and finally unfaithful to his POW buddies and to his CINCPAC father when he confessed to war crimes. No, McCain would not be given a chance to be unfaithful to the electorate.

Finally I read both of President Obama's books. He was a child who had suffered quite a few hard knocks. He had had no relationship with his birth father. His father died after returning home to Kenya. Barack Obama traveled to Kenya just before entering law school, there to make contact with his father's family, this to come to understand his father and make connections with that tradition. Those desires show true "family values." He both studied hard and played basketball hard, showing both devotion and team work to his endeavors. By his fellow students, he was elected as editor of the Harvard Law Review, not because he was so brilliant, but because he respected opposing points of view and worked to settle disputes. Often in the Illinois senate, Barack Obama voted "present" not because he was shurking his responsibility to his electorate, but because in doing so, he was signaling to both sides his willingness to work together. Not taking either side often is the smart way to bring both sides together.

Where some saw in Barack Obama's potential to become a president, I saw in him potential to bring a nation much divided by war and economic hardship together. He worked out some compromises on healthcare. He ended an outdated policy called DADT. These required his spending much political capital, more than otherwise would have been necessary, this due to the likes of Mitch McConnell whose chief goal was to defeat the President in 2012, not work together and cross ailes to address current problems. What a shame McConnell has become for Conservatives!

Change takes time, time for people to see the light. Time for people to come to understand the need to compromise inorder to make gains. When I voted for President Obama in 2008, I was voting for his Presidency for an 8 year period.

If you don't like what the President has accomplished in three years and disapprove of what he is attempting to accomplish in the next 5 years, state your sound reasoning, not your emotional fears of change. We true conservatives understand the ongoing need to change, to update our laws to keep up with a changing environment. We moderates work with all concerned to make change incrementally, feeling the way as we go.

There is much more change needed in healthcare, much that had to be left behind on the table in order to win support. DADT will remain burried in our past as it should be. It was an instrument of incremental change, one whose time to go and come.

Where government is not the employer of choice, it needs to foster private sector growth and development here at home. However our infrastructure has been allowed to begin crumbling around our feet. Let's bring home our troops and put them to work rebuilding American at home. It is far far cheaper to invest in our future by paying a soldier to build a bridge here, paying their salaries and buying the necessary materials [from home sources] tools and equipment, than it is to house, feed and equip them in Afghanistan where at best they make more enemies.

And government needs to quit subsidizing both ethanol and crude oil production, allowing the open market to foster alternative energy sources. But allowing a pipeline from Canada to traverse Nebraska's sole source of clean water makes no sense, either. It needs to be relocated east.

As I expected, Barack Obama has been on the "right side" of all of the above listed issues. He both needs and deserves a second term in office. This is why I support his second term of office and why I hope we maintain a Democratic majority under Harry Reid and move toward a more evenly divided House. No Tea Partier has yet set forth reasonable goals and objectives not also embraced by the President. Yes we do need smaller government. But throwing out the Baby with the Bath Water as the Tea Party seems bent on doing is neither reasonable nor prudent.

We need to both cut federal spending AND raise new revenues. The notion of not taxing the rich so that those lost revenues can trickle down to creat new jobs [allowing some theoretical rising tide to float all boats] if ever correct is no longer correct. Buddy Romer and I see it for what it is. The rich can buy off politicians and keep more money in their pockets. Even Mitt Romney knows what great returns on investing in politicians can be.

Now what are your well thought out and unemotional reasons for not supporting the President but rather for supporting someone else? And just who would that "someone else" be? Being a registered Republican able to vote my preference for a hypothetical alternative, yesterday I picked Buddy Romer. Buddy sees how corrupting money in politics has become. Getting rid of Citizens United is a goal of mine too. I could have picked Newt Gingrich. His nomination would help re-elect the President. But the message I believe needs to be sent is the message Romer champions.

Mr. 666, its your turn! I'm listening!

Masterrogue666, Dale voted for a president that:

Significantly increased the number of Americans at or below the 'poverty' level during his term.

Gave 800 Billion taxpayer dollars to Corporate America and actually protected CEO bonuses by law in his stimulus legislation, (even though the vast majority of Americans from both parties rejected 'stimulus".

Forced the job-destroying and unconstitutional Obamacare bill on Americans even though the vast majority of Americans opposed it (both then and still today).

Sold 2500 asssault rifles to the Mexican drug cartels who then used those weapons to kill two U.S. law enforcement agents, then had Holder lie about it to congress.

Illegally attacked Libya after he himself stated that the President did noit have that constitutional authority.

Made illegal appointments while congress was still in session.

Appointed a known communist, (Van Jones), as a Czar over Americans.
    .
Appointed a NAMBLA, (North American Man-Boy Love Asscociation), advocate, Kevin Jennings, as safe schools czar.

Took an illegal 250 million dollars in campaign contributions that came in the form of pre-paiod untraced credit cards, after he said he would only take public funding.

Set out on a world islamic apology tour to bow low before and kiss the rings of muslim kings to humiliate Americans.

Threw away 500 million dollars on his cronie friend's business venture, (Solyndra).
Instituted Class warfare by using the OWS movement, founded by Van Jones, Obama's long time communist friend.

Increased foreign held U.S. debt and therefor enslaved future generations of Americans financially.

Lied about "No Lobbyists in my white house" by having about 60 lobbyists on staff.

Drastically increased unemployment for Middle and Working class Americans.

He drastically increased the gap between rich and poor; under Obama, the middle class and working class are poorer now after three years under Obama, but the rich are far richer under Obama..

He lowered the standard of living for the Middle and Working classes by 10% so far during his term.

He increased America's debt to exceed our GDP.

He has increased the energy costs for the average American family by $1800.00

He has launched a bid to re write the second amendment but was "educated" by the supreme court.

He makes war upon Christianity by refusing to allow Christian Prayer at a National Cemetery during Christian Funerals.

He has taken orders from George Soros and the CFR.

Refused to act and virtually assisted Iran in the development of nuclear weapons.

Refused to act in a humanitarian purpose regarding the brutal regiomes in Iran, Syria, and Yemen, though he used the "humanitarian excuse" lie to attack Libya and execute it's former leader.

Sided with Illegal aliens over Americans in immigration policy and border enforcement.

Initiated a brutal federal crackdown on state Medical marijuana programs, even though he admitted past use himself.

And Masterrogue666, Dale admits that he wants Obama to be the POTUS for anther 4 years!

Masterrogue666, in short, Dale drank the Kool-Aid is in line for another glass full.

    And Mr. 666,

Where President Obama picked Joe Biden as his running mate, John McCain picked Sarah Palin. Explain that one, why don't you, Slabside.

In short, Slabside blames most everything he does not like over the past three years on the man in the White House. But Slabside cannot place any blame on Bush43! Heck, 43 asked Cheney to help him pick a running mate, and Cheney looked into his mirror and said "pick me!"

You can read Slabside's list of complaints for yourself and easily identify those which are not appropriately attributed to the President and those which are flat wrong. Nuf said!

Sorry to break your rose colored Obama Kool-Aid dring glasses there Captain Neo-Con but, I noticed you failed to address any of the Obama failure points I posted. In typical liberal fashion you attack the messenger.
I am the first admit that Bush was not the best president America has had but he sure looks like Einstein compared to the nitwit in the WH currently.
Bush has not been the POTUS for over 3 years now so when is Obama going manup and accept responsibility for his failed policies?
Palin would have made a better president than Obamanure!

    "Nuf said?"

Now if you wish to pick a few of your complaints and write us a column piece, I and many others would address them more directly. You up to that challenge?

You see Dale, you are so full of liberal spin you can't even debate like an adult. Nothing I posted was a "complaint" They are facts of a failed presidency that you helped put into place. You know these are documented facts so you run and hide and build your strawmen.
You say you support Ron Paul but you and I know you are going to vote for the biggest failure of a president that America has ever seen yet again. You are quite pathetic.

This Obamanation isn't a man, he's a community organizer and probably not even a natural citizen who will be the next great one term president like Carter. I wonder which one will be better remembered for their incompetence in office?

    OBAMA'S COLLEGE CLASSMATE SPEAKS OUT

By Wayne Allyn Root , June 6th, 2010

Barack Hussien Obama is no fool.
    He is not incompetent.
To the contrary, he is brilliant.
He knows exactly what he's doing.
He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. Economy to create systemic failure.
Economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and
    Our country from within.
Barack Hussien Obama was my college classmate

He is a devout Muslim do not be fooled.
    Look at his Czars...anti-business..anti- American.
As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one!
Barack Hussien Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven,
two professors at Columbia University ..
They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system.
With government spending and entitlement demands.
Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming.
Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority,
That desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on
to always vote for bigger government.

Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

    Universal Health Care .
The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions).

Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans
will add trillions to the national debt.
What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government .

Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill
In the middle of a depression?

    Cap & Trade.
Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, Cap & Trade has nothing to do with global warming.
It has everything to do with redistribution of income, with government in control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors.

Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants.

They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power.

The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars,
bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

Make Puerto Rico a state. Why?
    Who's asking for a 51st state?
Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government
entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers.

But this has been Barack Hussien Obama's plan all along.
His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

Legalize 12 million illegal Mexican immigrants.
Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America .

But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted
    on to support big government.
Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security .

Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go?
It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country.
It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions).
A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues).
All those public employees (unions) will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America .

The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job
creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers,
redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did
nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama).

Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government.
Barack Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition. With the acts outlined above, Barack Hussien Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees (unions) who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.
Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by
my Columbia University college classmate Barack Hussien Obama
using the Cloward and Piven Plan ..
