"The dust storm Tuesday night kind of made all the people that complain about leaf blowers look foolish."

"Now that the Casey Anthony trial has completed, and even though she was acquitted, the whole dysfunctional family should be placed in a cage to feed off of each other like the bottom-feeders they've proven themselves to be. What a waste to society."
—
"I have an idea. When Casey Anthony makes that book deal which you know she is going to make, let's boycott it. When she appears on "The View" and has that inevitable interview with Barbara Walters, let's complain to the sponsors and boycott watching it as well. In other words, let's make her wish that she was still behind bars. Don't let this woman profit from her daughter's death. Then let's light a candle and hope that Caylee rests in peace."
—
"Casey Anthony walked away from a murder charge that she may have been guilty of because the evidence was tainted and the fact that Nancy Grace, Jane Valez Mitchell and HLN had already convicted her with their Nazi-like hate messages. Nancy Grace, who is supposed to be an attorney, should know that a person is innocent until proven guilty. She must have practiced law in France."

"To the venter who expressed frustration about the Mexican American studies program: I am completely offended by your bigotry. I'm 13 and Mexican; we deserve to learn about our culture and whatever we want. Quit trying to squash our Mexican pride by trying to take away part of our heritage."

As for the Anthony trial the scary part is that it seems to show alot of people have no idea justice system works. They seem to think that the trial and or conviction should be based on emotions not facts or rear hard evidence. Or even worse what the media thinks or implies in some of their comments. The jury was correct in their findings no more no less based on what they saw and heard. Get over it folks,

Dusty, too! We need the summer monsoon. Praise the Lord it is here.
Second Venter:
With an attitude like yours, you will never have to serve on a jury!
Third Venter:
I'm going out on a limb here. There will be no book deal and no TV appearances. Casey will be "poison," pretty much like O.J. was and is. She'll need a new identity and reconstructive facial surgery to enter back into society. And whether you believe it or not, it is possible, but perhaps not likely, that she had no direct role to play in the death of her daughter. That is why she was acquitted.
Fourth Venter:
Not sure what "evidence was tainted." Did I miss something? There was no direct evidence that Casey planned or executed the death of her daughter, only compelling circumstancial evidence. And Casey's mother opened a door wide enough on that circumstancial evidence to cause reasonable doubt in the mind of 12 jurors.
Fifth Venter:
Buenos Dias, mi amego! I studied your language and culture in the Fort Worth, Texas primary school system during the late 50's. George W. Bush also benefited, but in another district. Pardon my spelling. It's been 50 + years. But I share your love of Mexican culture and Mexican people.
I benefited from that studies program and so will you and your class mates.
