As an East Valley resident and voter I have a big problem with the campaign signs which read “Keep Russell Pearce.”
They are blatantly deceptive and meant to imply incumbency. More appropriately they should read “Recalled by voters in 2010.” It’s just another dirty trick like the Olivia Cortes scam in the recall election.

Funny how these Letters to the Editor are always from Mesa. Now why would a certain segment of Mesa's citizens be on this Anti-Russell Pearce Campaign?
Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it. Could it be Mesa's water? Could it be Mesa's air?
Could it be Mesa's climate?
Just what is there about or in Mesa that gets a certain group of it's citizens to go on this Anti-Russell Pearce Letter Writing Campaign. I guess we will just have to go to Downtown Mesa and look around.

Yes Leon, please have a look around - with your eyes open this time.
Notice the signs and the verbiage used.
How is being anti-deception/lies being anti-Pearce??
Leon, are you implying that Pearce is PRO-deception? Because your comment seems to point in that direction.

I agree with Mr. McTevia. Now all we need is someone to print up stickers with "AT HOME" or "OUT OF THE CAPITOL" in large letters, and slap 'em on every sign that says "Keep".

It's like some of you never heard of politics before. Or is it selective ignorance? Just the other side that does it? We need to keep Pearce here in AZ. We need him back in congress. What is so deceptive about that? Just because you hate him because he will do what the majority of us want is no reason to cheat, lie, and steal. Oh wait, I forgot, that is politics. Never mind.

Richard. be serious you want honesty and the truth in policits, politics is about money and control, nothing more, on both sides of the aisle.

Richard,
While your point is well taken, others' points are equally well taken, others except for Leon. Politics is the art of deception. Glade you have called Pearce out. As a Arpaio protege, deception is to be expected.
I can hardly wait to read the Supreme's decision on SB1070 and Healthcare. It will find fault with both. But the Supreme's can't find fault with Campaign spending! If Obama leaves office, we shall see the Court go even more over board. The Supreme's are good at deception.

Leon, yes, look around. Could it be Mesa's garbage? Yes. It would be that.

The other side? Anyone who has been paying any attention at all know who the other side of the fence is concerning Pearce and Arpaio. The hatred for both Pearce and Arpaio, liked by the majority of AZ voters, is both apparent and obnoxious in some of these comments.

You don't "keep" something you already got rid of. Pearce is kind of like athlete's foot. It keeps coming back if you don't continue treatment. If you ignore it, it just gets worse.
california leon... if you don't like Mesa, don't stick you nose where it doesn't belong. It's pretty silly blaming a City for anything, it's just a place. Maybe you should start by calling it liberal, or illegal, or hybrid or some other foolish name. Take your GPS with you when you go Downtown to look around. You'll get lost in a city of informed people.
