I turned into (NBC) this weekend to watch the Olympics and what a surprise, I ended up watching commercials and in between the commercials I watched the Olympics. When I tune in I want to watch the Olympics not commercials or the news broadcasters explaining what happened or what is going to happen. I got so upset with all the commercials I turned TV off and turned the radio on.

I'm wondering if NBC will lose as much money on the Olympics as it's losing on it's NBC news (MSNBC) network.

Hate commercials?
DVR (you can edit out commercials) or failing that, get satellite reception...no commercials, and you can watch the announcers make fools of themselves during the breaks!

The networks all do it. If a program is popular they load it up with so many commercials it isn't hardly worth trying to watch the program anymore.
They start out with maybe 6 minutes of commercials in a 30 min sitcom and if it's popular , pretty soon you have 18 minutes of commercials and 12 minutes of show.

And if there were no commercials, there would be no show. Oops, those evil capitalists are at it again......
