Whoa, how did I miss this? What a novel idea, firing 35 or the 50 teachers and hiring new ones. How did that get past the Union?

Because there are no unions in this state....only professional organizations that teachers can choose to be a part of, but these organizations have ZERO power. If the school was failing, the principal had the right to fire them under the NCLB law.
