Ronnie,
Know what you mean about Dick Cheney. He was the first Veep who was clearly more qualified and more intelligent than was his President!

I wonder at what point liberals will let go what their media stenographer partners depicted Bush as and why Obama is some genius? We know nothing about him still, how his Ivy league education was paid for - but Bush mispronounced nuclear and somehow that makes him dumb.
What a myth the state controlled media perpetuates. Obama's preposterous policies that trample the constitution, defy the majority electorate, and Chicago style politics make him smart? Not in my books.

Buch mispronounce "nuclear?" So did Carter. And where Carter was in the 'Nuclar" navy, he had no excuses. No 'mnjcpa,' "Stupid is as stupid does." And Bush 43 acted stupid, so stupid than none of today's Republican Candidates have anything nice to say about him. But let's be "fair and balanced" giving credit where credit is due. Laura Bush's ideas on education were innovative and might still lead to improvements in our public education system. And Bush 43 had the wisdom to listen to her.

No one is perfect. I’m sure you’ve said things you regretted. Admittedly
you have a powerful partner in this myth Dale.
You have to turn the television off and find alternative reading to really find the truth. When you have mass communications on your side, discrediting your opponents is your strategy. Then you understand why Bush was depicted that way and Obama - who we really don't know ANYTHING gets a free pass and propped up as some genius.
Fortunately my family taught me to think independently, and I see it for what it is.
I will take Bush' values any day of the week over this radical. The good news
for me is I haven't listened to a television newscast in 4 years and read every
book I can on history, economics, and the monetary system - from both sides.
I wasn't raised a conservative. I became one by becoming informed.
