"When Bibi Netanyahu says he is ‘willing to make painful compromises to achieve' peace with the Palestinians, why is it that the pain is generally felt most directly by the Palestinians?"

"I see people whining that no cap and trade bill has been passed. The reason is twofold: 1. Global warming (now "climate change" since the earth has stopped warming) turned out to be a farce. A good example of scientists altering the data to fit the hypothesis. And, 2. It is very bad economic policy. Liberals have never been any good at facing reality. There are probably still people out there crying that the ERA amendment never passed."

"Here we go again with the ‘undocumented immigrants' language used to describe the 108 illegal aliens from Mexico and other Latin American countries found this week. Who is the ‘media culprit' this time? Yup, good old Channel 3 TV, KTVK, who once again shows its pro-amnesty bias. You can't be an ‘immigrant' and be ‘undocumented' at the same time."

"Not all Republicans are racist, bigots or fascists, but, all racist, bigots or fascists are Republicans!"

"Accuracy'" there you go again, and again and again being inaccurate. Where inabove have I even mentioned Hamas? I have not! Repetedly I have stated that I'd take the leaders of Hamas and Bibi out back behind the out house for a licken! And I am not anti-semitic. Being descendants of Abraham, Arab Muslims technically are semites, too. And since I favor Zipi Livni, I suppose you think she is an anti-semite, too. Zipi is Bibi's chief political opponent and she is a semite through and through!

Hamas is growing but is not yet a majority party. And the largest party in Israel was lead by Zipi Livni who was anxious to continue the peace negotiations started by Ulhmer. Bibi had to allign with the religious far right to get elected as prime minister and prevent his coalition from loosing power to Livni.

And had you watched the program I saw on Sunday you'd know that when Bibi said "You see, our conflict has never been about the establishment of a Palestinian state [B.S.]. It has always been about the existence of the Jewish state." you'd see he was outright lying. Israel has been established since 1948. And between Jordan and the Mediterranean, the IDF rules supremely and with an iron hand. The problem with Palestine is its profound lack of cohesiveness and unity. But the Arab Spring might change all of that.

Bibi Netanjahu=Jewish Apartheid, a total and complete domination of Muslims, even in Palestine by Jews. He would give up practically nothing, would keep the IDF on the West Bank along Jordan, and most probably would keep up all of those check points within the west bank which prevent Muslims from traveling freely in their own territory. Bibi is affraid of Muslims. They have come to hate his brand of apartheid. Were any of you Palestinians, you would hate it too.

And that Gaza/Egypt border crossing opening you mention is an example of the Arab Spring coming closer to Tel Aviv.

Bibi, time is running out. Settle generously with Palestine now or lose to that one state solution, the one you will find to be most unpalletable. But Livni's group will celebrate it. Nowhere nearly a majority of Jews fear Muslims. Making war is easy. Making peace calls for guts. Bibi is weak kned compared to Zipi.

What you guys fail to understand is that the debate over how to settle with the Palestinians is much more intense, divided and heated in Israel amongst Israelis than it is here amongst Americans. Most of what Bibi said to Obama was his playing up to his own constituents at home. You guys are being fooled, time and time again!

Slabside, I have no idea what your web cite leads to and do not intent to look it up. What I believe is what I state, openly and not behind some pseudonym like the one hiding you! Chicken! But where you and I disagree, you impute to me what you think I must support in order to dispute what you believe to be correct. It just ain't so.

    Dale Whiting,

There you go again favoring the Islamic group Hamas and the upheaval of the so-called "Arab Spring." Also stating…”there will be a one state solution, and it will not be the current system of effective apartheid now favored by Bibi.”

To you, Hamas will not recognize the Israeli occupation under any condition.

For the second time in his political career, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of the United States Congress May 24th. Netanyahu put it succinctly: "You see, our conflict has never been about the establishment of a Palestinian state. It has always been about the existence of the Jewish state."

Meanwhile, Saturday's official re-opening of Egypt's border crossing was by the new Egyptian government to herald closer ties with the terrorist organization. For years, the Hamas terrorist group used tunnel systems to smuggle weapons into Gaza.

"Accuracy'" there you go again being inaccurate. There was no call to revert to any lines, much less "1949 lines." President Obama's call was identical and nearly word for word with every negotiating group having interacted with the waring parties since 1967. Springing off of the 1967 lines, each side needs to surrender to the other side property on "their side" of those borders until we reach a workable solution.

Whatever your information source is, it's flat wrong.

Bibi does not want to surrender a centimeter of space between the Jordan on the east the the Mediterranean on the west. But he knows that he must, for Arab Muslims will shortly out number non-Arab Muslims in this region once again. Since the end of the Crusades and before until WW2, that has been the status. The Jewish State was created after European Jews were allowed to immigrate without restriction, leading upto the declaration of Israel, a state which had not existed for almost 2,000 years. Imagine yourself to be a Palestinian Arab Muslim and guess how that event would settle in your craw! It doesn't.

Bibi needs to think about how Palestinians feel and see if Jew and Muslim can reach a mutually agreeable two state solution. Where not, with the Arab Spring coming to a neighborhood near Tel Aviv, there will be a one state solution, and it will not be the current system of effective apartheid now favored by Bibi.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Benjamin Netanyahu was Israel's UN Ambassador from 1984 to 1988, Israel's Prime Minister from 1996 to 1999, and Israel's Foreign Minister from 2002 to 2003, before becoming Israel Prime Minister again in 2009. That means he has been intimately involved in the Israeli state issue for at least 27 years.

But, on May 22, 2011 – to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (most of whom are Liberal Democrats) – President Barack Obama took a swipe at Prime Mister Netanyahu, by implying that he knew more about the whole process than the Israel Prime Minister did.

Obama’s call for a return to those 1949 armistice lines is a policy that would divide Jerusalem, give Palestinians and terrorists control and shatter Israel's ability to defend itself. Hamas terrorist group response to President Obama's rebuke of the Israeli people is to demand even more and it is now calling for the extermination of the Israeli state.

    First Venter:

Is me. This past weekend one Sunday Morning political program showed video tape of Bibi decrying the so called Two State Solution about 30 years ago. Back then he objected to the Jewish State giving up anything west of Jordan. He wanted to expell all Arabs from the Jewish State regardless of 1967 borders. Where Bibi once was a one state advocate, now realizing that one state would soon be dominiated by non-Jewish Palestinians, he got religion. Now he wants Jewish apartheid. Bibi is a hipocrite through and through. Were He here today, Jesus would lump Bibi into this sermon against Scribes and Pharacies in Matthew 23. Accuracy, have you read Matt 23 lately?

    Second Venter:

Oh how wrong you are. You are reading Koch Brothers propaganda. Cap and Trade is the best way to transition for carbon based energy systems to renewable energy systems. And the furor over faked data has been debunked repeatedly. Or do you not believe all of the indisputable evidence that all glaciers are melting more rapidly than ever before. Carbon emissions together with other green house gases cause the climate to warm. The only debate in science now is how much warming is due to man caused activities versus natural causes? And by the time that debate is ended it is likely to be too late to react!

    Third Venter:

Immigrant: a person who comes to a country to take up permanent residence. Your definition appears to be: a person who took up permanent residence after coming to a country. You have cart before horse.

    Fourth Venter:

I am not the Fourth Venter. But I am a true conservative who is a registered Republican. And I do know neocons who are not racist, bigots or facists. But I do not know any Democrats who are racists, bigots or facists. Guess I'll have to keep on looking for one. Here in Arizona we have so few Democrats.
