Letters: Leaders are manipulating citizens

Gov. Brewer knew this bill would lead to a lawsuit, but signed it anyway. There are ways to protest federal immigration’s lack of action that do NOT cost us millions in attorney fees. Those, however, will not stir the pot of emotion designed to polarize U.S. citizens. Why do we continue to fall for these shallow manipulations? A fool and his money (tax dollars) soon part. Raw emotion will not solve our immigration problems. Rational discourse will. Shame on our “leaders”. Shame on us for repeatedly taking the bait.
