The following voting guide has been prepared by yours truly as an another point of view for your consideration.
U.S. Senate: Rodney Glassman. He's young, smart and capable. It's time for a change.
Governor: Terry Goddard. He has been "Right for Arizona for 30 years."
Lt. Governor ... oops ... Secretary of State: Chris Deschene. If something were to happen to Gov. Goddard, Deschene would become the Governor. As a Democrat, he would be positioned to complete Gov. Goddard's term of office and, thus, fulfill the voters' mandate.
Treasurer: Andrei Cherny. As a former Arizona Assistant Attorney General and Economic Advisor to President Clinton and Vice President Gore, Cherny is most qualified to effectively manage the state's treasury.
State Corporation Commissioners: Democrats David Bradley and Jorge Garcia. Both are currently members of the Arizona House of Representative.
Central Arizona Water Conservation District: Tim Bray, Jim Holway, Ray Jones, Karl Kohlhoff and Sid Wilson, all water resource professionals.
Proposition 106: NO! Don't be fooled, protect your right to National Health Care Reform.
Proposition 107: NO! This represents another attempt by the wing-nuts to roll back affirmative action under the guise that we are all now competing on a level playing field. Not!
Proposition 109: NO! Yet another assault on the federal government's ability to protect America's fish and wildlife by suggesting that hunting and fishing are the "preferred means of managing and controlling wildlife." What, like in killing them?
Proposition 110: NO! Another ruse by our Legislature to "wheel and deal" state trust land without auction or advertisement using the diversion of "military facilities" as a cover for "land management." If a licensed Arizona Real Estate Broker handled a real estate trust like this, they could lose their license, be fined, go to jail or all three. I think NOT!
Proposition 111: YES! Three times since 1980 our Secretary of State has become Governor and in two of the instances the Secretary of State was from the other political party thus negating the will of voters. By changing the name of the office to Lieutenant Governor and requiring that each political party's nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor run on one ticket this problem would be resolved.
Proposition 112: NO! Another attempt by the Republican-controlled legislature to limit the voter's ability to gather enough signatures in time to put an initiative on the ballot. As if we have no problems with our elected officials getting the job done right the first time!
Proposition 113: NO! Another attempt by big business to bust the unions and limit their ability to organize workers.
Proposition 203: YES! Medical marijuana? Are you kidding me? This should have happened 30 years ago! Finally, an all natural elixir for what ails ya!
Proposition 301: NO! Another attempt by the Republican-controlled legislature to balance the budget with smoke and mirrors. Guess they want to abandon the "Growing Smarter Act" land conservation initiative that voters approved in 1998 and replace it with "Growing Dumb and Dumber" in 2010!
Proposition 302: NO! Can you believe that these same morons want to terminate Early Childhood Development Programs that we approved in 2006. These programs are funded with tobacco taxes that the legislature wants turned over to the general fund to narrow the budget deficit. We should not mortgage our children's future in order to pay short-term debts.
All this smells huh? The Repubs want to mess with our health care, our ability to compete for jobs, shoot-up our wildlife, give away our trust lands, limit our ability to place initiatives on the ballot, cripple our ability to organize and turn their backs on land conservation and early childhood development? Adding insult to injury, they don't want us to have legal access to medical marijuana to deal with the massive headache and anxiety that they're imposing on us.
I'm not liking their vision of my future. Let's send in those early ballots or go the polls on Nov. 2 and send 'em a message that Arizona's future is still so bright that ya gotta wear shades!

Re Proposition 107: Vote YES! It will simply ban discrimination and preferences on the basis of race, ethnicity, and sex in state and local government contracting, employment, and education (including university admissions). The playing field may not be level, but that's no reason to add in more discrimination and preference. I understand that an employment, contracting, or educational program might be designed to help disadvantaged individuals or new companies or first-generation college students -- but those folks come in all colors and both sexes, so these programs should be open without regard to race, ethnicity, or sex. Proposition 107 would not end these programs, but it would require that they be open without regard to skin color, what country your ancestors came from, or your gender. That makes sense!

Vote for Thomas Meadows for State Treasurer! There is an entire community of people that are backing him right now! Lets join together as a people and stand up for our rights and the environment! No longer will a corrupt government be allowed to prosper! Peace and Love to ALL!

This man is right on the button. He could vote for me anytime. I was suprised that someone actually agreed with the way I was seeing these propostions.
