An estimated 22.1 percent of Americans ages 18 and older suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year. Despite the fact that women are twice as likely to have mental issues as men, it’s the men who seem to go “postal” and go on killing sprees. The media does not like to talk about the side effects of such drugs which are now given out like candy.
Right now the Obama administration is working on trying to disarm American citizens per the wishes of the United Nations. History has demonstrated that a disarmed nation is a nation at the mercy of any despot. Obama spoke of a private army as large and powerful as the military and no one in the media asked him what he meant. Now we know that “Fast and Furious” was attempting to get the same fear of guns and gun owners as media now appears to be working on the actions of the Batman nutcase. American and New Zealand are the only countries which allow advertising of pharmaceuticals and that is killing more Americans needlessly than zoned-out medicated males who have lost their last vestiges of reality.

"Obama administration is exploring potential changes to gun laws that can be secured strictly through executive action". Beefing up background checks and better data sharing sounds like solid changes. Wonder why President Obama thinks he needs to shove it down people's throats (or is that just huis comfort level now)?

Nice link, chuckles...now please provide the evidence that "beefing up background checks" would do anything to "disarm American citizens".
Unless, of course, you don't have any, and are simply running your mouth again. ;)
Run all the background checks on me you like, I can still legally purchase a firearm.

Does any one care what the UN wants? Let's get this straight. If someone in the crowd was legally armed and rubbed this fool we would be talking about fewer deaths and injuries and why an armed citizenry is a good idea. No?

From the Huffington Post article:
The “Obama administration is exploring potential changes to gun laws that can be secured strictly through executive action, administration officials say.”
The Department of Justice held a meeting to discuss the “ White House's options for shaping policy on its own or through its adjoining agencies and departments -- on issues ranging from beefing up background checks to encouraging better data-sharing.
. . . The purpose of these discussions is to be a productive exchange of good ideas from folks across the spectrum,” one official said. “We think that’s a good place to start. . . .
House Democrats joined New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to offer another possible starting point, announcing legislation that would make fundamental changes to the nation’s gun background check system.”
Is Dupont one of those men with "mental issues"? ? ?

Well, it took two seconds to google this article from the Huffpost, an evil right wing web site:

Any evidence for this claim? Otherwise it's as valid as my claim of having a fire breathing dragon in my basement.
