Let’s get one thing straight: Mexican drug cartels supply us, as in U.S. It’s very doubtful they could survive without our market. Us baby-boomers opened Pandora’s drug box in the ’60s and can’t get the dang thing closed. For that, and my being an accessory during the fact, I sincerely apologize.

It all starts with the need to be cool. We’re choking on “cool” and our children will pay the price until we lead by example. It’s called operant conditioning and happens prior to the age of reason. Images imprint our children, so ask yourself: What are my kids really seeing? Man-up and do something about it parents, and do it now!

Yeah, why is the American illegal drug market so lucrative? Americans are obviously spending the money. Is this a few people paying a lot to support their habits, or a lot of people buying cheap drugs? Do these users function as useful members of society, or non-functional, losers? How many are doomed to a slow deterioration living under bridges, leading to death or prison? Why is putting illegal chemicals into your body appealing? Why isn't addiction a deterrant to using drugs? I have been around for a long time, and drugs never appealed to me. Was I missing something?
