The campaign for Chandler City Council is taking some interesting turns as six candidates choose sides on issues, jump on bandwagons, reinvent the internet and father traffic signs. The more the candidates meet to “debate” the more their positions begin to look the same. Through all the posturing and handshaking, one candidate has emerged as the best person to represent us on the city council for the next four years.
Kevin Hartke is that person. He is the real thing. Kevin is the “what you see is what you get” person. His position on issues is consistently on the side of what is best for Chandler and its citizens.
Kevin volunteers for civic organizations, charitable causes and city boards and commissions. He has answered the call wherever there is need and he has done so for the 25 years he has lived in Chandler. He brings solutions, not problems, to the organizations he serves and he will do the same for our city council.
While his community service resume is extensive, of particular note is the work he is doing as the vice president of the Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona and his leadership on the city’s planning and zoning commission. It is this combination of caring and experience coupled with his outstanding work ethic that assures us that Kevin will be an effective representative of the people of Chandler.
Vice Mayor, City of Chandler
